If anyone curious http://www.thephinsider.com/2013/12...-miami-opponents-locked-in-after-week-17-loss
I'll likely go to the game in Detroit since my best friend is a Lions fan/season ticket holder. Last time I saw Miami live was in Detroit... the Thanksgiving day game where we beat the Lions... sweet revenge for Harrington that day. My buddy thinks it will be the Thanksgiving day game.
Can't over speculate , but doing just that , barring some dramatic probably unexpected increase in lots of areas , hard to envision more than 9 wins. Saying that better coaching and addressing the talent issues and growth by 17 maybe 10 wins are there. We cant 't keep not being a plus win team in our division though , and don't know if that is on the horizon.
Bad luck with the always scrappy Ravens and the AFC West in that you can pencil in two losses to the Broncos and Chiefs. Good luck IMHO with the NFC North. They are strong this year but tend to be a division that easily falls apart.
It's just about impossible to make any predictions based solely on the schedule. Did you think we'd lose to the Bucs when you saw them on our schedule before this season started?
Yeah, the 2014 Jaguars may just be the 2013 Chiefs for all we know. The Chiefs could go down the toilet. Not that it matters....we would have lost to the 2013 Jaguars today and last week.
Way too early to speculate on a schedule lol...Did anyone think the Arizona Cardinals would win 10 games this year? Hell they almost won 11! You never know.
As with every schedule, if you just win your divisional games, your in good shape, In other words, we're ****ed
My prediction is that the Dolphins will go 5-11 or 6-10 if Ireland remains the GM and Philbin remains the HC. If we get a new GM and HC, I will revise my prediction after seeing who this new individuals are and after the free agency signings and the college draft.
If they couldn't do better than 2-4 this season in their division against teams which were suppose to be in rebuilding mode, in the Bills and Jets. I have no idea how they expect to do better next year after the Jets, Bills, and Patriots continue to upgrade their talent in the draft and in free agency.
yeah but we seem to play good agianst good teams. I mean you look at it now, we beat the Chargers, Colts, Bengals, and Patriots, all good teams. We just happen to suck against bad teams. go figure a positive is this loss gave us the Jaguars insted of the Titans, imo the worst team in that division next season. And Ill take Baltimore next season.
It is far too soon to speculate on how tough the schedule will be. When the games are played during the year plays a big part of it.
I was looking forward to the away game in Denver, now I think I'll have to wait to see some positive changes.
Miami Dolphins- Home: Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings Away: Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000307352/article/opponents-set-for-2014-nfl-season
The Ravens at home again...that might as well be on the road. If this offseason doesn't bring enthusiasm those Packers & Ravens games are going to feel like road games even more. I might cry if they miss the playoffs next year. That 2008 playoff game will be sandwiched between six non-playoff years on each side (both the longest streaks in team history)...and that 2008 game barely counts anyway, it was over before it even began.
