So... we're going to do a mock draft... when the season is only half over and we dont know where we are picking? Wow, we've hit a pretty big low round here eh?

As for Lewan... As a Michigan fan, he's not as good as Long was coming out IMO.

Cam Erving will be the best OT from this year's crop and we may be able to trade down and still draft him, although it is highly unlikely he remains underrated.

Just hope there are some good OL prospects available come FA. Jared Veldheer and Jon Asamoah would look great in Dolphin unis next year.

Draft OT Cam Erving and C/OG Gabe Ikard and we have the makings of a great OL.

Ireland would have to be fired before any improvements could be made.

Keep in mind we may need a starting DT.

I have a feeling were picking in the 11-15 range again. Cyrus Kouandjio, Cameron Irving, Antonio Richardson all would help this team out. Kick Martin inside because clearly cannot play tackle effectively.

Perfect, we can draft him as Longs replacement.

All part of the long term plan to incrementally deprove.

What the heck, I'm game. I'll assume Miami's without a 7th rounder as part of the McKinnie trade, so here's what I'd look at:

    1) Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix - S - Alabama - A play-making FS here as I think we address OT in free agency.
    2) Louis Nix - DT - Notre Dame - I think Nix slips a bit due to weight/conditioning concerns. He's scheme diverse; a beggar's Vince Wilfork.
    3) Jalen Saunders - WR - Oklahoma - Another option at slot receiver as insurance for Brandon Gibson.
    4) Isaiah Crowell - RB - Alabama State - Former top tier recruit at Georgia. Off field issues, but could prove a steal. Marshawn Lynch 2.0?
    5) Greg Blair - ILB - Cincinnati - A 2-down thumper (hey, he's local to me) with size. Starting potential down the road.
    6) John Urschel - G - Penn State - Uber smart, physical RG prospect. May not be a starter for a year or two, but worth developing.
