I was thinking Panthers... not sure how Sanchez will look tomorrow... might just watch and play something in the second half lol
TCU are 28 point favorites against Kansas this Saturday, which Im sure they will easily cover that line, they opened at 20 and now it got bumped to 28. Anyways, The safer bet will come when the totals show up, total will be set somewhere around 58-65, first half points will be at 30ish, take the over first half points, if the first quarter points is set at 14-17 take the over as well. Take the team total as well. Kansas is a very bad team and got blown out by Baylor recently. Baylor scored like 33 first half points if I remember correctly since I did win a TT by Baylor in that game. TCU's offense is much more dangerous despite losing to Baylor.
Glad I stayed away from +7 tonight... Philadelphia's offense cooled down, and instead of taking 3 points, they go for it on 4th, and now they're still down 3 scores. Good job Carolina! You would think they would try to win with New Orleans losing yesterday.
And those two garbage time touchdown gets me another win.. There we go Newton you scrub.. Made the bet big enough to recover my two small bet fails from last night thanks to Chicago.
Yeah Im struggling with whether I want to place anything on our game. I thought the line on Bovada would be closer to -3 for us, but it's at -6. I do get 50% of my first deposit to the site free, so maybe I'll use that. Really not sure.
Dolphins are 0-3 SU and 0-3 ATS against top 3 defenses averaging 13 ppg in those games (buffalo, kansas city, lions). if bovada is showing -6 thats wayyy too high for a team with a mediocre offense and a porous offensive line.
I do agree its too high. However this is a game we should blow them out. At home, TNF, short week after a tough loss. Not confident though. What I'm really waiting for is their line on FSU/Miami and the Alabama game.
still -2 on betonline, has been moving up and down from 1.5 - 3. Im likely going to take the Over on that game, ima assume Vegas will try to sell that it will be a defensive match up just like they did last week with Ohio State vs Michigan State. I can see this game turning out similar to FSU @ NC State. Wont take the Over if its near 70 but if its 55-60 ill bite. Miami off a bye? FSU can easily make them one dimensional by stuffing Duke and make Kaaya beat them but I think Miami will use this game as their introduction to the future. They have a lot of motivation to show up big.
My heart says Miami has the talent. My brain says we aren't there yet. Maybe next year when Kaaya has a full offseason under his belt. The kid is a special QB.
Tuesday MAC under special. Under 61 NIU vs Toledo < weather report for tonight: 22 degrees in Huskie Stadium, 18 mph wind, NIU is a power running football team. Under 51 Buffalo vs Akron < weather report for tonight: 41 degrees in Buffalo Stadium, 50% chance of rain 18 MPH wind, very poor offenses. Apparently a lot of people like the over on the NIU/Toledo game but Toledo's quarterback Woodside suffered a leg injury, they might start a freshman in place of him and if they don't, Woodside is a dual threat quarterback that will be limited because of his injury. And anyways, the Tuesday under trend must go on. NIU is also on a semi short week, they played last Wednesday.
I don't think they win, but I do think they score points. They have talented weapons like NC State, wouldn't shock me if they scored 30 points. But FSU is definitely going to score 40. I don't care what Miami's defense did to North Carolina that's not going to fly with Jameis.
I see this as a game where both teams score in the high 20's or low 30's honestly. I don't see fireworks unless FSU REALLY dedicates everyone to stopping the run. In that case...Kaaya throws as good a deep ball as anyone in the country and I like that matchup. If they play balanced though I see us (Canes) as trying to control the clock with the run game.
The volatility of that line has been pretty incredible. 5Dimes actually had a Bills +7.0 when I checked yesterday. I think it was -120 but still. Now what I see is Bills +4.0 with -110 on both sides.
Some of the props I'm reading for that game is pretty funny in a sad way... Total catches by Hartline O/U 2 Total receiving yards by Wallace O/U 57 HIGHEST PAID RECEIVING CORPS IN THE NFL! [homer]How dare they! Hartline is Jordy Nelson![/homer]
Haha I wasn't able to deposit much money into my Bovada account this week due to some money issues coming up so honestly I'm just having a bit of fun with it this week not caring at all if I win or lose. I only put in $30. Did an 8 team parlay (All Football, mostly college) for the hell of it. Put down $10 for the chance to win $1800 Nebraska +6 1/2 Clemson -3 Auburn +2 (100% confident in this one) LSU +1 Notre Dame -17 1/2 (this one has me iffy) Seahawks +1 (over KC) Detroit +2 (Over Arizona. They KILL Stanton) Steelers -6 (Over Titans, they rebound strong after being embarrassed) The second is an action bet. $20 on the Dolphins tonight (-5) and FSU Saturday (-3) Before anyone says I'm an idiot...I really don't care if I lose this $30. I just wanted to have fun this week and take a chance. I actually expect to lose it. Which is fine. It's like playing the lottery. Starting next week I'll actually be serious and play to try and profit. Just looking for some fun and release this week.
Going to do a prop Over 3.5 Field goals made on this Buffalo/Miami game. Got a feeling Sturgis will ruin this bet for me but oh well. I don't expect many touchdowns, just field goals.
Have a feeling you're going to win that bet easily. Unless everything goes wonky and they start missing FG's left and right.
So I started my career 1-0 with picks! I knew our Phins would cover given the circumstances! Phins up!
+17 Wake Forest @ North Carolina State Clemson TT Over 31 @ Georgia Tech (Deshaun Watson is back) Clemson / Georgia Tech Over 60 -28 TCU @ Kansas TCU / Kansas Over 31 First half
Was tempted to play +12 Temple @ Penn State because Hackenberg sucks and THEY SHOULD cover easily, but Penn State is like the Baltimore Ravens of CFB to me, always goes against me, so I'll stay away.
Add under 56 Nebraska/Wisconsin, 22 degree weather, snow, great defenses, power running offenses. I expect more field goals than touchdowns. A similar outcome to the Michigan State/Nebraska game 27-22.
It is odd, Reynolds is 100% though but I think there will be a small rust factor, Navy is coming off their second bye in a month.
Pumped for today. I have my parlay that I don't expect to win at all, but if FSU covers I'll end up with a tiny bit more money than I started with. If FSU loses...my Canes won most likely (can't see Miami losing by 3 or less. Horribly unlikely.)
Ya thats the bet im most confident in. Theyre going for style points today. Already have two bets on that game, waiting for team totals to load might add two more bets. One for first half and another for whole game.
Eh already regretting the Over Clemson/GT game... GT's offense looks bad so far. i think Clemson still covers the TT but damn. Edit: And now Watson injured his foot/ankle dislocation so both bets look bad. Greattt. And just like that Stoudt throws a pick six at the red zone!
Ugh Watson just blew out his knee or something. Trying to ruin my parlay on the first game Backup QB throws a pick 6 on 3rd and goal. FML.
Stoudt sucks, his family always talks him up saying he's been preparing 4 years to be a college starting quarterback. Um he should have learned to throw and sell the run during those four years instead of staring at defensive backs with the ball out in front of you and pitching it back for an onvious run play. Garbage
