2 of 5 dynasty experts put Foster higher and 3 of their redraft experts did as well(out of 20 but still someone).

Grimes gets promoted to RB2 for Texans then shortly after they cut Brown. All is good.

hmph, interesting. So of that long list of experts, Lacy's average dynasty RB ranking is #3. Foster's is #16.

If you remove each player's single highest and lowest ranking, Foster's high is 11th, with a low of 26th. Lacy's high is still #2, with a low of 7th. So Foster's best ranking from 30 experts is still 5 spots lower than Lacy's worst.

You still dont get it. It doesnt matter if its majority or not. Im not interested in anyone elses opinion when I make a deal. I trust my own instincts far more then someone elses. I dont even read anyone elses mocks because frankly theyre inconsequential to me. Im not always right but Id rather be right or wrong trusting my own instincts since thats whats always worked for me. That you think you or anyone elses opinions should play in to that when you made a tank trade to get rid of Hartline is far more bothersome to me but again, you valued him differently so I didnt make a stink over it even though I could have.

Hartline to you had a value of 10 picks to move up. If thats your argument and even if we went by rankings, which I normally dont go by then Lacy as a top 5 keeper option vs Foster in the late teens well if he liked James Jones enough to take that deal and make up that difference shouldnt that be his right? He has a good team so the pick shouldnt have been more then a 5-7 slot jump if that. What youre arguing against is almost identical to what you did. Thats very hypocritical.

I didnt say their future value was insignificant. I said I valued Foster more now. He agreed and took the deal. Your or anyone elses opinion doesnt matter. Ive done dynasty for a decade, I know how its supposed to be done. You dont. Youre the one who initiated and made the stink over it. You didnt like it because I was able to go elsewhere and get a deal on a player I wanted when you wanted to break the bank for Khiry freakin Robinson.

Lacy had a concussion. Which is more severe buddy? Id rather Foster miss the preseason to be honest with you. These games are completely inconsequential. The games I care about are week 1-17. What Foster did isnt inconsequential since the Texans are imo closer to the team they ere in 2012 then the team they were last year. He should be back to 4.5 YPC/1500 yards/10+TD and 40+ catches imo. That you didnt like the deal doesnt mean you should be making those complaints public. You veto it and if its vetoed by everyone else explain if you want, but you dont vocalize it and influence others imo.

I say everyone just drops it. No point continuing with this to be honest. You should all focus on acquiring Doug Martin.

I hold grudges when its bs imo. I wont be dropping it.

As for Martin, make an offer since you didnt like the ones I sent you earlier this offseason.

Same thing i said about Martin....

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming with Todd baselessly whining about how the trade wasnt fair.

Making this move as a potential precursor of another trade as I have a lot of WR that essentially the same tier.

I object! Tate is the #41 dynasty Wr prospect, White is all the way down at #67. It's not a fair trade according to what Todd said. Tate had 900 yards with seattles run dominant offense, he's going to get much more with Detroits fun and gun video game offense. Trades cannot be this far apart according to Todd. And according to Todd his and BKs opinions don't matter since they are involved in the deal.

Yup, we're talking about the #41 WIDE RECEIVER, not the #5 OVERALL player. What Tate "gets" this year in Detroit's offense is your opinion...... just as it's the opinion circling around New England that James White is in for a big role this year and is probably their back of the future. And he's not.... wait for it...... injured. Now this is the type of dynasty trade that you were referring to yesterday, the type that if "you don't like then perhaps dynasty isn't for you", because this one is a WR3, a player on BK's bench who will be on mine as well in the future, for the guy pegged to become New England's 3-down RB of the future and a very possible RB3 this year. Hmph, a bench WR or a future starting RB? If my current WR3 weren't Greg Little, I wouldn't have traded a future RB2. But hey, vote however you want on it. In your trade you were trying to upgrade RB in a massive way by giving away a RB you thought held much less value; if this weren't true, you wouldn't be so mad about it being vetoed, nor would you have attempted the trade in the first place if you felt the backs were a wash [IE: even value and thus a fair trade].

I'm just glad you get the point. Yes there is a difference in the quality of players but there is no difference in the argument I'm making. If it was good to apply to me then it has to be applied to him.

Sorry doc. My competitive streak gets in the way of tactfulness sometimes. I didn't think my trade should have been vetoed but since it was I think everyone else who objected should be held to the same standards

It can be vetoed. It just needs enough people who deem it unfair to the point where it shouldn't happen.

Alright trade going down that is no doubt going to cause a stir.

    Doug Martin

    Julius Thomas

    for

    Cordarrelle Patterson

Shake and Bates 1st and 3rd pick.

Why I'm making this deal. Quality WR is needed on my team all I have is Cobb and Crabtree and both haven't shown to be very durable. I have a lot of depth at RB and can afford to lose Martin and Thomas is hard to swallow but a healthy Pitta and potential breakout player in Ertz make up for it. Also gain a 1st and 3rd which brings my draft pick tally for the 2015 Draft to 7.

this becomes even funnier if anyone read my PM last night to BK after I agreed to the White-Tate trade.

and what would there be to complain about b/c I don't see why you find anything wrong with it?
I knew about the trade in advance but didn't do anything to try to thwart it even though I wanted Patterson myself. But that's how I roll.

I don't complain about trades, except to people who write diatribes of trash about mine. As far as I'm concerned everyone should be entitled to do their own thing barring extremes and those who complained about other peoples trades

    cue Boik complaining in 3.....2.....1.....

I mean- Doug Martin is just 2 years removed from being the #2 RB in this league and ahead of Arian Foster, so you've gotta be furious about the muscle hamster going for just a 1st and a 3rd considering Julius and Cordarrelle essentially balance each other out. You've gotta be beside yourself that he's being sold for so low since you think Foster is worth the equivalent of 2 first rounders [which is exactly what Lacy would've fetched].

If a running back spent the end of the previous season on IR to where his actual game health and ability is still undetermined, which happens with back surgery, his value drops. It always does, and it doesn't help his cause if he starts the new preseason inactive b/c of injury. Heck, even the greatest RB in the NFL [Adrian Peterson] dropped to the 3rd round in your ThePhins league draft in 2012 after he ended 2011 on IR {see below}. Even you passed on the 27 year old AP three times even though you drafted 2 backs.

Matt, here's your veto of my Brandon Marshall for Jacoby Ford trade in 2011.
Notice the second line of your second post, not to mention you vetoed the trade in general as the commissioner b/c it was a WR for a WR and you thought one was clearly better than the other to make it an unfair trade. Doesn't seem like you're being consistent here when it involves your own trades.

Lol I wasn't complaining. Like I said, I think everyone should be allowed to do their own thing. You're the one complaining. I was complaining that someone was complaining.

Edit: and bringing up ted Ginn for Brandon Marshall just makes you look sillier. That's the extreme I was talking about.
