The highest number I have seen is 8 with a first round grade.

I'm disappointed we had no shot at landing our draft target all along [Tavon Austin] and had to divert attention elsewhere, but Dion Jordan certainly is a nice consolation prize for me. Guess I need a new Signature. lol

Hey, that's 3 years in a row now I've nailed our intended draft target from an early date. :cool0:

So? Sorry Ricky, you don't plan for the draft with the expectation of successfully trading up to 3 like we did, especially not when we're in trade talks with KC. It fell that way on draft day due to circumstance but that doesn't change the fact Austin was the intended target at #12 or short trade up all along. We lucked out with a desperate Raider team, period. No way of forecasting that in advance.

I agree, I think the whole wording of the darlington tweet confused people.

I think we are on the sane page but some people were acting like we missed out on Austin, instead we lucked up into Jordan

    Also...no need to apologize

What about what Minnesota gave up to move back into the first round? Granted they were coming back into the first from way down on the second, but still...I think NE fleeced them. :pity:

If that's true, if it was going to be Austin but we changed targets and went after Jordan, I like the pick even more. Sorry bro.

And they drafted an arguable top 5 player at 23 in Floyd. Honestly, they killed it in round 1. Floyd, Rhodes, Patterson? What a round 1 for them.

Fleeced is a matter of opinion. If you value the "old" value chart, it was pretty even. Even enough, anyway. And the caliber of player they got at 28 was pretty solid. They drafted 3 guys you could argue were top 5, top 10, and top 15 picks. If I were a Vikings fan, I wouldn't be terribly upset.
