    UPDATE:

OK guys, the nominations are in and 10 finalists were chosen. So please vote for ONLY 4 players/coaches so we can induct 4 into this years class of the Miami Dolphins Hall of Shame.

Oh and please bump the page after you vote so we can get a nice tally.

You've heard of the Hall of Fame, you know were the all-time greats are nominated and are enshrined to represent the best of NFL history. Individual teams also have their own ways of honoring these players, (eg ring of honor, number retired). But what about the stinkers. The guys who are infamous for others reasons. Well it's time we honor those players who out-stunk the rest and remember their play, or lack there of, on the field.

The first step is nominations. So I ask every poster to please nominate 4 players or coaches from their pool of Dolphin's memories that they feel deserve this honor. Once I get enough nominations to get a formidable pool of stench. I will create a poll with the next step to find out who will be our first class of Hall of Shamers and dawn the illustrious brown jacket.

    Guidelines for nominations:
*No more than 4 players or coaches or owners
*Has to have to been a Miami Dolphin
*Had to have been gone from the Miami Dolphins for 4 years
    *Have fun

Jerry Wilson - one of the worst DBs ever

Cameron Worrell - The WORST safety I have ever seen take a field

Cris Crocker - As a Dolphin he was terrible.

John Bosa - Terrible first round pick

I think Wanny is way worse than Saban and did way more damage to this team. Wanny didn't just take a dump on a great defense, he took the kind of foamy gurgling crap that you get after a bender and 3 day old Taco Bell.

Yeah, it's like the real Hall of fame, players have to be 4 years removed from being a Dolphin. So if you can replace Allen, I would appreciate it.:knucks:

1.) Ray Lucas...I really cringe when I hear his name, this guy made Jay look like Dan, what urks me the most is when this puke was a Jet, he always played well against us.

2.) James McKnight....as hard as it is to make Fiedler look worse?? This guy did. His drops almost always bounced up in the air and into the opponents lap, dude was a joke.

3.) Channing Crowder...for as much attention as he brought to himself wouldn't you expect something more than "meh"?? He was painfully average with a big mouth, not a combo I prefer.

4.) AJ Feely....ahhh our savior shipped here for a 2nd rounder. Good call Rick, Andy Reid made this joker look much better than he ever was. He was a turnover factory and I'm sure that chick divorced his sorry *** by now.

5.) LJ Shelton....while I'm watching Matt Ryan have another top notch performance, I still can't blame the masses for selecting Jake Long #1. We needed a LT for years, and LJ Shelton our big FA pickup gave our F.O. many reasons to select Big Jake. If he had played even OK??? Good chance Ryan would've been the pick.

Great thread by the way OP, it's almost like I feel better getting all of this off my chest.

After reading the first page of this thread, I was shocked noboy mentioned Olividatti, but saw Hardcore got him on page 2.

    My list -

    1. Tom Olividatti - That defense was abyssmal and prevented Marino from at least 1 superbowl.
    2. Nick Saban - Hurt so bad because he really could have been a great coach in the NFL even with the blown QB pick had he just stuck with us. He was building something but left us in an unfinished mess that Cameron had no clue what to do with.
    3. Ray Lucas - Cried during a game. Believe it was against the Bills. No place for crying in football. He was terrible.
    4. Yatil Green - What a complete and total failure. Busts like this devastate franchises.

    Future nominee -

Jeff Ireland - Once he's finally fired, even his staunchest supporters will agree with his placement on this list. A terrible GM who has been an embarassment to this team. The final skidmark on a failed Parcells puppet regime that refuses to be flushed down the toilet. The Worm Tongue to Stephen Ross. The grossest pastiest legs on any human being. Nerdy sunglass connectors. Soulless ginger. 0.0 personality. No ability to land a free agent. Folks say Brandon Marshall was a cancer. Ireland is a cancer. He is a sad awful smelly ****stain on this once proud franchise.

What exactly do you base that on?

I see people mention this all the time in these threads and have to wonder if they have ever really looked into any facts on this guy.
    I'll help you.

He was voted both as the team MVP and Rookie of the Year.
Guy was very talented and looked like he'd be a dominant player at some point.
    Injuries destroyed his career.
Not a terrible pick at all.... just bad luck.

Desides has a weird list. Harrington and Porter? Why?

I see a lot of A.J. Feeley too and he's another I don't get. He played like 8 games for us and he won a few of them including beating the Pats on Monday night.

    My list:

    Ray Lucas
    Daunte Culpepper
    Nick Saban
    Cameron Worrell

General incompetence. He played a nice game for us against the Lions because he was motivated to do so; shame he wasn't that motivated for every other damn game.

Harrington came here as a backup and went 5-6 as a starting QB. Not great, but I wouldn't call it incompetent. And I sure wouldn't call him worthy of the "Hall of Shame".

    Different strokes I guess.

Okay but do you not recall his '08 season where he balled out. I remember when everyone in the media was flippin' out because he said he was gonna bring the kitchen sink to the pats when we went up to New England, well yeah he backed that up alright.

I enjoyed some of the time he spent here. Worth the money well no, but he made some exciting plays.

I know everyone has their own list, but there are some that really don't belong in the hall of shame. Players can't help that they were drafted really high when they should not or have career ending injuries.

    Mine

Jimmy Johnson - For convincing our owner Dave was the next great coach ugh!!!!
Tom Olivadotti- If we had a good to average DC back then Danny would have 1 or 2 SB rings
    Ray Lucas - just UGH!!!
Manny Wright - had to much of his momma in him I guess.
