How do you fix a thin little waif, you make them add some weight, which shouldn't be a problem with all that Southern Hospitality in Hotlanta. Oh I feel so urban and edgy right now. No better way to take the edge off then to switch over to some Hennessy.

Sixteenth Overall: Michael Brockers, DT, LSU - Atlanta Falcons

The top defensive tackle prospect slides all the way past the top fifteen and land in the laps of the Falcons who are a little thin on the defensive line as they appear to be looking at running a 3-4 defense. Most feel Brockers fits the five technique best, but there is a chance you can get him to add some more weight and he could play nose tackle and demand some double teams.

Luckily the Falcons already have Peko on the payroll to man that position. However, there are some similarities to the Raiders end Richard Seymour who use to play inside and out for the Patriots. He is a bear of a man and will give trouble to some lineman on one on one situations. A good pick here, but the only thing thinner than the defensive line would be the wide receiver position but that has a deep enough class that they can add to it later in the draft.

    Peter Kiper rating: A+

Peter Kiper's Soundtrack to the draft equivalent:
Welcome To Atlanta - Ludacris feat Jermain Dupri

"Now the party dont start 'til I walk in
And I usually dont leave until the thing ends
But in the mean-time, in between time
You work yo thing, I'll work mine"

    Mid round Peter Kiper evaluation

I like that he goes out on a limb with some of these music selections, and for bringing in a fun aspect that amuses me. Some of these songs fit the pick perfectly, but a few others have me feeling he reached to create a fit, an association. While he's had quite a variety, I'd love to see some more classic songs and maybe a little less more recent and modern ones. How we are already 16 picks in and I don't think we've had a 60's or 70's song yet baffles me. I mean, we could have used How Many More Times (Is Fin O Going To Reach And Make A Bad Pick :D ) already, a perfectly missed opportunity.

Fortunately, we have plenty of more picks to go, and plenty of time for Peter to rectify this mistake, and I'm confident he will. With such a range and knowledge of songs, bad and good alike, the talent is definitely there, all he has to do is put it together and harness it and then he'll know no bounds.

    Rating of Peter Kiper: B

Vikings moving up here... this should be interesting. I have no idea what they are going to do since A, it's alen and B, his team page is not up to date. Suggestion for next year, all team pages must be up to date?

It's the least people can do, as soon as I make any kind've move I update it.....or else I will go crazy and could potentially mess up my cap #, draft picks, etc.

I mean I can understand the need to be secretive. But thats not how the "real NFL" operates. Their fans know who is on the roster. Are we supposed to keep a spreadsheet on every team (not just our own)?

We, the Vikings, moved up here to secure a player that we rated highly, perhaps higher than many others, because there were possible suitors for Hill in the spots prior to our initial pick.

now there's a surprise pick from Alen. I like the player. Would have considered drafting him at 20 (he probably wouldn't have gotten below 19 anyway, right BK? ehem). But there are at least 4 guys on my list that I'd draft over him right now.

It's whatever. There will be a loophole somewhere that I'm confident I'll find in the system regardless.

Looks like we got another trade up here, not as big as the Chiefs but enough spots to cause a stir of my drink. Looking at my board I believe they can either go defensive tackle or offensive line. I tell you I had a hard time researching the team from their website, it was either down or never updated.

Seventeen Overall: Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech - Minnesota Vikings

Well they let their veil drop and exposed us to the receiver who impressed scouts with the best forty time, if the Raiders didn't screw themselves with that Palmer trade we could very well see them moving up to draft Hill, then I remembered Troy Williams.

I'm not saying he's going to turn out like Williams, no. This kid isn't as raw of a product much like Thomas in Denver he was hidden in a system that wasn't receiver friendly. We'll have to based this on the potential of Hill growing his talents and the recent history of the Yellow Jackets producing some NFL talent at the position.

From my sources it looks like he'll be either starting opposite Randy Moss, or behind Deion Branch on the depth chart. So it looks like they really needed a young receiver with exceptional speed and size. Moss supposedly looked good in work outs, but I'm not sure he's the guy I want setting an example in the locker room for this kid. Nice pick, but that core is a boom or bust group because Moss only plays when he wants to play, and Deion Branch like Moss fit better in New Englands system. The light at the end of the tunnel, Hill and Harvin should form a nice pair of playmakers if we see the boom.

Now let's see if they updated their website, or if we're working with someone with more secrets than my brother and his closet.

This is similar to the Cox pick for me. A guy that went higher than I thought he'd go in our draft, but a very good player nonetheless, and a good pick IMO.

Its a solid move by Alen imo. WR's dont last long at all in this league and he needed a young one to go across from Harvin. Megatron and Demaryius Thomas have been bigtime hits from GT and I think Hill can follow in their footsteps

I have Hill as the 2nd best WR in the draft personally.

But what do I know I picked Poe @10

Some people just have a pair, and know what they want. Forget what others say and go by the beat of their own drum and the Ravens certainly did here.

Eighteenth Overall: She McClellin, DE, Boise State

Here's a kid that showed he can play linebacker during the senior bowl, and the Ravens could use some help there losing both Jarret Johnson and Jameel McClain to the Cowboys. McClellin is an underrated prospect coming out, but at this position is a reach on many professional draft boards.

I wish I could see what was going on in that war room when this came up, but you can't deny this guy was a lynch pin in the Bronco's defence and has an immense passion for football and work ethic to match. I just think the Ravens could have waited a little longer, maybe traded back and pick up some extra value in the next couple rounds, especially with some of the well known prospects ahead of him.

I love the kid and his intangibles, he's really made something of himself because he wasn't heavily recruited out of high school. Good player, just the wrong pick.

Haven't checked until now because I don't pick till 3rd rd, but the Kansas City Chiefs are absolutely owning this draft. Owning it...awesome value at 7 and 11, props where props are due.

His versatility did it for me. McClellan has played multiple positions on that defense and has the ability to cover and find the passing lanes. Some people say it is reaching. I call it securing a much needed asset
