Gosh I hope Luck, Newton, and Foles all somehow declare. Would make me feel a lot better about our chances.
I think he infers he hopes Luck declares to make the list of available QB's in the top half of round one deeper , thus improving the likelyhood Miami can select one of them this season.
Tandon Doss (WR, Indiana) is going pro. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsport...est-to-put-an-early-end-to-collegiate-career/
Dude.. I am pretty sure all these guys are going t be dead 18,000 years from now. Why would they declare for the 20011 draft? Why not just stay in school one more year?
That's a mistake. He's an OK player, though. Understandably, he's nervous about what happens when Ben Chappell (who has pro prospects at QB) leaves.
That's a pretty big one, Brandon Harris coming out. Could challenge Amukamara when teams start trying to figure out why Prince is always trailing receivers by 2-3 yards on deep play action passes or flea flickers.
Virginia DE, Zane Parr going pro? http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsport...-de-parr-surprisingly-jumps-from-cavs-to-nfl/
Notre Dame TE, Kyle Rudolph going pro (really we new this already) http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/05/irish-lose-te-rudolph-to-the-nfl/ As the article says, season ending injuries in back-to-back seasons can't help his stock.
Clemson DE, Da'Quan Bowers going pro http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsport...an-bowers-to-unleash-pass-rush-skills-on-nfl/ According to the best running back of all time's son, Alabama's Mark Ingram is going pro as well. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/05/barry-sanders-jr-mark-ingram-heading-to-the-nfl/
Pretty good list so far. Be interesting to see which WRs come out. I thought Jon Baldwin basically already declared, no?
I'm aware Alen, Baldwin falls in that category as well. So did Ayers. But there's never been a link to attribute to them (until now).
VT RB Darren Evans going pro http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/06/hokies-rb-darren-evans-opts-for-nfl/ Wisky DE JJ Watt going pro as well http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/06/watts-up-badger-de-to-nfl-thats-what/
Surprise! Ryan Mallet going pro. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsport...-surprise-of-no-one-mallett-enters-nfl-draft/ Alabama DT, Marcell Dareus (and as reported earlier by Barry Sanders Jr: Mark Ingram going pro) http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft2011/news/story?id=5996836
UCLA S, Rahim Moore going pro http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/07/rahim-moore-says-its-time-to-move-on-from-ucla/
Mizzou DE Aldon Smith going pro: http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/07/mizzous-aldon-smith-latest-to-take-nfl-plunge/ John Clay going pro (supposedly?): http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/07/clay-to-eschew-daynes-advice-enter-nfl-draft/
Clay should not go high. Two ankle surgeries, weight issues and ball security issues were problems for him.
WV Safety, Robert Sands going pro. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/09/robert-sands-heading-from-morgantown-to-nfl/ Georgia WR, AJ Green going pro. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/09/green-is-gone-uga-loses-top-wideout-to-nfl/
LSU CB, Patrick Peterson going pro (no link yet, sorry) VT RB, Ryan Williams going pro. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsport...-running-back-williams-also-heads-to-the-nfl/ Clemson RB, Jamie Harper coming out. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/09/clemson-loses-leading-rusher-to-nfl/
Oregon St RB, Jaquizz Rodgers to NFL: http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsport...-take-hard-hit-jacquizz-rodgers-heads-to-nfl/ Illinois LB, Martez Wilson going pr: http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsport...urprisingly-lose-lb-martez-wilson-to-the-nfl/
