Pro Bowl: Jake Long starting LT

Jake's the only Dolphin to make it.

The NFL's best blocking fullback and first down machine loses out to Le'Ron McClain's 902 yards in 2008.

Neither he nor anyone else got a sniff this year.

I'm at least glad Long made it again. IMO, he's our best player right now. Polite definitely got snubbed, but I'm not sure you can really make a case for anyone else. Maybe Starks, but that's about it.

Polite should have made it. And it's insane that Randy Starks didn't make it. He is arguably the best 3-4 defensive end in the league. Jake Grove and Vernon Carey deserved to make it, too.

Polite not being voted into the Pro Bowl is absolutely criminal. Jake Grove probably should have been in, if not for the injury causing him to miss games. Also would have liked to see Randy Starks get in, but this is a popularity contest and 3-4 DEs go unrecognized.

Ricky's my dark horse for Comeback Player of the Year. Though I suspect that award will go to Vince Young up in Tennessee.

Boy, if you're a Bengals fan, you've got to be pretty upset with getting zero recognition.

Im not sure how you can think Carey deserves to make it. He tends to be penalized quite a bit and is not nearly reliable as the three tackles that did make the team. Jake Grove played well but was also injured for 3-4 games.

True although OLB is one of those positions where the "popular" guys seem to get in and the rookies rarely make it, this year TWO.

Here's a fair question....how many of these players actually play in the PB? I dont care how much the NFL fines me if I'm the owner of the Colts and I'm superbowl bound my dudes are NOT playing in this meaningless game before the superbowl.

Call me crazy but I think if you have Orakpo or Cushing in there, you've got to find some room for Michael Oher at tackle.

Polite and Starks got snubbed. Matt Schaub got snubbed, Brady should not be ahead of him. The Bengals and Falcons got snubbed. The 8 Vikings=overrated along with the 6 cowboys, but thats always the case with them.

I think Grove would've been in had he not gotten injured. Carey, eh, it's a close call, but the way he's played the last two weeks, I'm not surprised he's not in it.

He is for now. Sad to see a broken ankle derail his rookie year. I think that once Dhani Jones is no longer a Bengal, Maualuga will move to the middle. The way Brandon Johnson has played the last month would warrant a starting role for them IMO.

Having Rivers, Maualuga, and Johnson with a mixture of Rashad Jeanty isn't a bad situation for down the road. I know they're also trying to develop Michael Johnson to play some OLB in the future a la the Cardinals defense last year in pass-rushing situations with Dansby and LaBoy.

Disappointed as hell since Im going to the game. If it was publicized harder that it was in Miami, we would've gotten more votes. But that's the problem with the ProBowl. Since its always in Hawaii, people in the Continental US dont care since its never been near them. It should ALWAYS be in the States.

Schaub and Brady have very similar numbers. Brady' team has lockedup the AFCE and of course, Brady has his history and popularity. Not sure Schaub got snubbed.

I think Vincent Jackson got snubbed but his numbers and Marshalls are similar. What about Santonio Holmes.
