It is the same Victor Butler but at his listed 6-2 238, he is to light for DE. I havent seen him play but from what Ive read he seems to have enough athletic ability to make the switch. Might be an interesting rush linebacker prospect for us.
yeah last year he had a ton of sacks but he didnt start. this year he started and got 10+ sacks again i think, he is alright in run support though. nothing spectacular. i doubt he gets drafted, same with brandon hughes cornerback from oregon state.
Well nfldraftscout has Butler as their 14th best OLB as of right now with a projected position of round 6. With 25 career sacks Im sure he is going to garner some attention.
I want to see what he does against Jamon Meredith. Highest profile tackle he will go against in Shrine practices. If he has a good showing, I could see him moving up a round or 2.
