I run a keeper league that has a four year keeper cycle.

    Year 1: Redraft
    Year 2: One Keeper
    Year 3: Two Keepers
    Year 4: Three Keepers
Players taken in the rounds 1, 2, and 3 of the previous year's draft are ineligible for keeping.
I have the option to keep 2 of the following:
Matt Cassel, Andre Johnson, Eddie Royal, Ronnie Brown, Reggie Bush, Jonathon Stewart, Anthony Gonzalez, Felix Jones

If the Pats give Cassel a huge deal, my draft plan will be as follows.

    Starters: QB 1, WR 3, RB 2, TE 1, DEF 1, IDP 2

QB – MATT CASSEL - KEEPER
WR – ANDRE JOHNSON - KEEPER
ROUND 1 – RB – MAURICE JONES DREW
    ROUND 2 – WR – RODDY WHITE
ROUND 3 – TE – TONY GONZALEZ / JASON WITTEN
    ROUND 4 – DEF – BALTIMORE
    ROUND 5 – RB – BPA
    ROUND 6 – WR – BPA
    ROUND 7 – RB – BPA
    ROUND 8 – WR – BPA
    ROUND 9 – QB – BPA
ROUNDS 10-17 – BPA ANY POSITION
    DON’T DRAFT A KICKER
    DON’T DRAFT ANY IDPS
LOAD UP ON QUESTIONABLE PLAYERS WITH HUGE UPSIDE, OR PLAYERS RETURNING FROM INJURY THAT MAY BE KEEPER POTENTIAL FOR 2010 (IE RONNIE BROWN IN 2008)

I lost the championship in this league last year. I'm in the championship again this year against a guy I beat to get into the playoffs. I really want to load up on talent at every position next year.

I should also point out that I ALWAYS grab the best young stud WR off waivers before anyone has a chance at him. I picked up Eddie Royal after watching him for 3 plays in his first game. He ended up outscoring Reggie Wayne, who I traded upon getting Royal.
Does anyone have any tips on how I might improve my draft plan?

Wouldnt bank on Roddy White or MJD being there.

I run a keeper league as well. I have no clue who the heck I'm going to be keeping other than Steve Slaton.

We keep 3 and give up the draft pick that corresponds to that. I've traded 2/3 keepers from last year's team (Steven Jackson: 1st RD, and Larry Johnson 2nd RD).

Here is what I have to choose from, let me know your all's thoughts on who to keep.

    QB: Ben Roethlisberger, 4th RD
QB: Jason Campbell, 9th RD (traded for)
    QB: Seneca Wallace, Undrafted
    RB: Steve Slaton, 14th RD--KEEPER
    RB: Tim Hightower, Undrafted
    RB: J.J. Arrington, Undrafted
    RB: Maurice Morris, Undrafted
WR: Wes Welker, 3rd RD (keeper last year)
WR: Hines Ward, 7th RD (traded for)
    WR: Bernard Berrian, 12th RD
    WR: Braylon Edwards, 3rd RD
WR: Ted Ginn Jr., 8th RD
    TE: Chris Cooley, 7th RD
TE: Dustin Keller, 15th RD (picked up off waivers)
    K: John Kasay, Undrafted
    DEF: Philadelphia, 11th RD
    DEF: Miami, Undrafted

Right now, I'm leaning towards Slaton (14th RD given up), Roethlisberger (4th RD given up), and Hines Ward (7th RD given up).

Bernard Berrian and Wes Welker have been nice players at WR and I like giving up a 12th RDer instead, but I know that Ward will get me 1,000 yds+ and 5 TDs+ every year. I like that value for the 7th RD.
