Normally a kind fellow phin has posted links to DraftScout's Riser and Fallers list, this time around, no joy, so Yahoo Sport's list will have to do: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ys-thewaywehearit041609&prov=yhoo&type=lgns Some won't like Nicks sliding back, but it makes sense, his weight gain may have been do to purging before the Combine to lower his timed numbers via weight loss. NFL Draft dog's Risers and Fallers: http://www.nfldraftdog.com/2009_NFL_Draft/risers_and_fallers_for_the_2009.htm Ladarius Webb is not a name I've heard mentioned before. We've scouted him, he is interesting as a 3rd Te who run blocks, or maybe a H-Back type. CBSsports version, note Chase Coffman is falling, he would be an Ideal Replacement for David Martin, one of the best pure pass catching Te's in a long long time. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/risersandfallers/RobRang It's a limited selection this time around as that is all I could find to bring a sense of who is up, and who is down, in the 5 days before the April Madness begins.
I can see Nicks falling. Would be happy getting Sintim. Robiskie's been getting a lot of love from NFL netowrk this week, which may help perception of him a bit. Overall, I want good value for my picks. I wouldn;t draft guys who are suddenly rising in interest, as you'll overpay. In financial market terms, you;d be 'cahsing the stock' upwards. The better value comes from someone whose value is falling, but not for any hard-fact reasons (no sudden disclosures of off the field problems or injuries or anything concrete). instead just someone who is being forgotten or whose hype has cooled off. Guys like Sean Smith, to me, are sliding into the mid second round again. I think that there will be a ton of valuie there at 2a and 2b for us and I'd take the guys who fell based on not being the flavor of this month.
