Ran across this spreadsheet and though it interesting:

    1995-2009:
    Qb..-0-
    Rb..-1-
    Wr-3-
    Te-0-
    OL-1-
    Lb-3-
    DL-7

What is more interesting is picks 9-11 are spread all over the map:

Picks 9-11 for the period of 1995-2009:

    Rb..2
    Qb..4
    Wr..7
    Te..2
    OL..4
    DL..9
    LB..8
    Db..9
    _____

Over time, it appears #9/#10/#11 are most often used on Defense, and then on Dline or Db's, meaning highly athletic players with the great 40 times.

I'd think it would be safe to scratch Qb off of players who will be taken in that draft slot, Te as well with an outside shot at Gresham, 1 Rb CJ Spiller.

And only one Wr worth taking that high, the Bills need a LT, the Jags could go in any direction, if Dez Bryant is there though, it would not surprise to see the Jags take him.

    Thoughts?

I sure hope Dez slips to 12.
I do find it interesting that QB, RB and TE combined, only 1 has been taken.
Feeling lazy right now. Does that spreeadsheet include names of players?

If I say it is from ESPN...would I have to say more?

Looking at that chart, the Broncos could take a Qb, but the Jags need a Wr.

Hard to see Bryant sliding by them AZ...and I'm agnostic on the names we are hearing at #12, McClain is kinda boring (though I'd like to have him) just like Kindle and Morgan and..

We are the usual Dolphins position in the draft AZ..not crappy enough to have a high pick, not good enough to win or even make the playoffs.

    And that is 2 Rb's, 4 Qb's, 2 Te's:

    09/Maybin Crabtree Raji
    08/Rivers/Mayo/Mckelvin
    07/Anderson/Ginn/Okoye
    06/Simms/Leinart/Cutler
    05/Rolle/Rogers/Williams
    04/D Hall/RWilliams/ D Robinson
    03/K Williams/T Suggs/Trufant
    02/Henderson/L Jones/D Freeney

Probably, the ESPN link had numbers this size

Does 1 Qb and 1 rb make that much of a difference?

I'd think not but for whatever reason this offseason has been choc a bloc full of nattering neddies who really do read the entire thing to say "it was 2 Rb's buddy!"

W Dunn and M Lynch went off the board at #12.

    K Phins focused on #9-#11.

The good thing is the vast majority of the names in the #9-#12 range went on to have at least good NFL careers.

Jaguars drafting a WR in first round...idk...they have had some bad luck...and Sims Walker their WR from last year looks legit...and they just resigned Williamson...
what they will draft is D-line D-line D-line...they were 2nd or 1st worst in sacks last year and they need a speed rush!!!
with so many talented players this year they prob will not take a risk in going later and just take one of the beast that falls to them

I think the Broncos will keep Marshall, the owner wants him and the last I heard were trying to figure things out

so I think its very possible we have fall to us

    ILB Roland McLain
    WR Dez Bryant
    RB CJ Spiller
    DT Dan Williams

um....so what do we do??? haha
at this point if we had takers I would trade back 3 or 4 spots haha
