I've been working in restaurants, even though Australia has pretty well shrugged off the GFC, the restaurant trade was one of the harder hit areas in Oz. Funny thing is the two or three restaurants I've worked in since the GFC hit haven't noticed any change. The places I've worked provide good food at fair value price and good service, its been the restaurants that have not been providing quality and value that have been going to the wall.
