Glad to hear that, I'll try to check it out this week.

Mila Kunis has one of the all-time most beautiful faces; right up there with Grace Kelly and Ingrid Bergman.

But man, she is SO skinny from the waist down! It's kind of disproportionate.

Clever, smart and funny girl, though; not your typical Hollywood airhead, like most of her contemporaries. She was on Ferguson recently and I came away impressed with her.

Saw Four Play last night; funny, sexy and smart. Kind of stumbled to the finish line, though; Almost like Mike Binder (writer, director and star) re-wrote the ending late and lost some steam in the process.

Colin Firth, as usual, brilliantly understated; Mariel Hemingway looking sexier than ever, and STUNNING beauty Irène Jacob looking sexy and talking dirty. Mmm...:hump:

I'm suprised Denzel Washington would be in an action movie like the Book of Eli.

    I'll give it a rental.

Wasn't EXACTLY what i expected, but a great movie never the less. Great action scenes, with a pretty good twist in the end.
    Defiantly worth the time.

    Saw Legion.
I felt like Dusk till Dawn and Terminator conceived a baby in church, and Legion was born.
It was alright, some shooting, end of the word and all.
Not bad, but not good either.

its just so damn emotional. there are like 5 or 6 points in the film where i just lose it and it makes me cry

i guess what i mean is that the emotion of certain moments just hits me so deeply and suddenly that im not prepared for it

heck, movies can make me cry lol. its just who i am lol. i even welled up at the finale of "school of rock" lol. different emotion obviously

with "into the wild" i feel a deep pain. its a sorrow and regret. he touches peoples lives in a deep way. they clutch him and do everything they can to keep him from going off to his death. he leaves because its not quite what he needs

he needs his parents yet it requires a mountain of reckless behavior by him to get them to finally get it....far too late

he needs contentment and needs crazy solitude

he needs truth and only really finds it in the cold reality of his poisoning

its beautiful and tragic. it sneaks up on me from out of nowhere and just unlocks some deep emotions inside of me.

really not sure why it is so personal to me

Book of Eli - I liked it quite a bit. Action was really good, Denzel was amazing and it had a nice twist at the end.

Tyson - the guy is just fascinating. Good documentary, well worth seeing.

Watched [IMG] the other night on Reelz, w/ Kiefer Sutherland and Robert Downey Jr. Pretty cool movie, hadn't seen it in about 20 years. Details the story of two guys in college dealing with the Vietnam conflict, and how it affects their families.

Kind of an odd one, but definitely a good movie.

    In the past three weeks:

Sherlock Holmes (big fan of Holmes growing up, kinda liked the grittier reimagining), The Lovely Bones (excellent movie, very emotional for me), The Book of Eli (good movie, not great, hated the "made-for-sequel" ending).

I watched [IMG] on G4 today. I'd seen it in the theater 17 years ago, and I thought it was a lot better then. That slow motion crap that director John Woo does in the fight scenes gets annoying after a while.

Y Tu Mama Tambien. Exceptional, although the two male leads are so irredeemably obnoxious in the first 30-40 minutes that I almost stopped watching. I'm glad I finished it.

Glad to see someone else has seen that.

I agree at the start I was confused as to where the movie was going but by the end I was impressed. In fact I've seen the movie again since the first time and it was even better then...because I knew to pay better attention.

Also last night I finally saw '17 Again' on HBO and it was actually better than I thought it would be. I don't think it was a great comedy but I left thinking it was an average comedy which is far beyond what credit I had given it to start out.
