The New York Daily News believes there's a "real chance" that the Jets will use their second-round pick on a quarterback.

The Daily News thinks the Jets' interest in Matt Ryan is a smokescreen, but says Joe Flacco could be a target in round two. Other quarterbacks that may be available there include Brian Brohm, Chad Henne, and Andre Woodson

Flacco or Brohm would be fine with me. The Jets just flew up to BC to work out Ryan as well. The whole crew went, Mangini, Tanny, etc. The Jets drafting a QB is a strong possibility, but truth be told I'm hoping the #6 nets us someone other then Ryan.

That's why we have to take Flacco with the #32 pick. I think Ryan, Brohm and maybe Henne will go in the first round, so that's why we need to grab Flacco, who I think is better than Brohm and Henne.

Flacco or Henne would suit me just fine.

Why the Jet's keep picking up "noodle armed" Qb's is beyond me.

Well, Flacco is the anti-Pennington ... he's got a cannon arm, good size, strong physical gifts. In all reality, it wouldn't surprise me to see them make this pick, although I'm not convinced that he'll be around when the Jets are on the clock in round 2.

I don't follow. Clemens is not a noodle arm, probably about average if not a little better. Pennington was average before the injuries. We haven't and probably will not draft Ryan. Before Pennington was Testeverde.

They only have one noodle arm, and that's the penne pasta variety. Clemens has a strong arm.
