2010 Pro Bowl Rosters announced - only 1 Miami Dolphin

disagree, Grove missed to much time (what 4 or 5 games?) can't make the probowl on 3/4's of a season.

Carey doesn't deserve to be in the same city the probowl is being played in. I heard the NFL is going to ask him to leave Miami during probowl weekend.

 

Watch the games and see, this was his worse season he had. he has lost a step and gets beat a bunch, heck as someone else has said already, the last few weeks he has been plain bad.

would have been a great honor for him

No player got shafted like Jackson did. Oher possibly, but Jackson should have been on the roster.

 

Please don't try to compare Schaub to Brady. As much as I hate to say it, Brady is HOF material.

 

in his career yes. but THIS SEASON (which is probowl criteria) shaub is comparable to brady imo

shaub -- 27 td 14 int 4600+ yards 91 rtg

brady -- 28 td 12 int 4200 yards 97 rtg

 

Jake Long is going to be getting into the Pro Bowl for the next decade barring injury.

 

i saw someone mention this on twitter.....if colts make superbowl.....they have 6 players on pb.....they wont play leaving opening for fill ins......including DE (starks?)

so lets see what happens

 

I don't understand all this belly-aching over the Pro Bowl. We're a 7-9/8-8 football squad. Our players haven't earned the benefit of the doubt.

Randy Starks He's NEVER gonna make the Pro Bowl as a DE. The only DE's that make the Pro Bowl are the guys who amass tons of sacks. He could be the best 3-4 DE ever, and he won't sniff the Pro Bowl.

Vern Carey Vern plays RT. RTs don't make the Pro Bowl. Only marquee LTs make the Pro Bowl.

Lou Polite He's got just over 115 yards. The Pro Bowl is all about being flashy. Even the FB position.

Jake Grove/Justin Smiley Too injured to garner real interest.

 

Wow ricky hits 1000 yds and does not make it ? When was the last time or rb ran for 1000 yds

 

Well look who he's up against. Jones Drew, Johnson who hit 2000 I believe...

 

Happens all the time.


1000 yards in a 16 game season is no big deal.

Johnson's 128 yards short I think. Doing it off the top of my head so that is likely off.

Ronnie did get 1000 yards the year before he tore his ACL IRRC.

Also CJ, MOJO and Rice are beasts and much better RBs than Ricky.

True, I didn't realize Grove missed that many.

Carey, however, deserved it. But, I didn't realize only three tackles get chosen. All Left Tackles, too. So I can see why he wasn't chosen.

 

He's given up 4 sacks this season, and has been very good run blocking. The past couple of games he hasn't been the best, but overall he's been very good.

Exactly, and I dont think many Fans have comprehened this.

But if COLTS can sit guys "to stay healthy" during a season where they hadnt lost a game prior, in hopes of reaching SB.....if they do reach SB...how can the Commish or anyone else expect them to play prior to SB in this ProBowl joke of a date????

Made no sense when they moved it from HI to FL and prior to SB vs. after.

PB in HI was a vacation/reward (for family members too).....FL is not!
