How many do we actually think we in the stands? This was basically a playoff and the turnout was horrible. I know...Holiday weekend. Still, that was a piss poor effort in terms of butts in the seats.
I can't blame them. I have never been to a game in Miami but I don't think any team teases their fans more then Miami....every year we come close but we never are good enough to compete for a championship, and other then a couple years ago, we never suck.....we just win between 7-10 games and the go soft as better when it counts. How can you allow another 7-7 team to come into your house and totally embarass you like that in the first half. I think I would tell Gebril Wilson to clean out his locker tonight so he won't be around next week. How pathetic.
why.... we came back hard in the second half and could have won the game sure it was a disaster early but in the full 60 minutes we stuck around did you even watch the game you probably gave up if you did watch some people were talking about going to the gym or doing housework the ones who didnt watch it all arent real fans anyways
Hello there... I was there... maybe a total of 60+ thousand there... Did you not hear us booing after we were down 14 nothing... We had something to cheer about somewhere around 10 minutes after the second half started.. I mean come on... the crowd does not get paid to play, the players do...
The seats were pretty full in the first half. A lot left at halftime you could tell. they were frustrated, but look what happened, we almost came back, and they missed an exciting comeback. The fans that were there were still very loud so give them credit.
It looked 3/4 full during the first half. It was a lot less after halftime, but it got loud still, and even shook by me. I was happy that it was at least entertaining in the 2nd half since we made it close.
Steeler game had the same crowd, its a tough weekend. Not trying to make excuses, but it seemed that way for most games while clicking through all the games.
I was at the game and it was a pretty decent turnout I thought, we were just silent throughout the first half (apart from booing) and then the fairweathers left at half. Honestly, being down 27 I didn't expect the crowd to even be into it as long as they were.
. I was there. When you're down 27-0 and the hot sun is right in your face, the prospect of hanging around for more isn't very enticing. For the first time ever, I felt like leaving. We ended up going inside the club level and watching from there. No need to suffer thru the heat and be miserable. Had the team fallen further behind, I would have left and not felt the least bit bad about it. Sent from my HERO200 using Tapatalk
I was there. Turnout lookeed terrible at kickoff. It really filled up though. Crowd was rocking pretty good. I bet you guys could hear the REF YOU SUCK chant all the way though you tvsets.
I don't know what to say to this. Maybe some of us enjoy going out and supporting the team if we can...
I have never and will never leave a game early. I was at the comeback game vs the Bills in 2005, and I was also at the Titans game. Its never over till the clock reads all zeros or an OT score.
I was there, it was rocking. Quit, talking about the crowd if you never go. I dont want to hear anymore excuses why you cant go, so quit talking about the crowd like its a disappoitment if you never go. IM OVER THESE COMMENTS. Take a darn road trip, and go to a game. Quit whining about the crowd. PS- im very angry and bitter after finally getting home. Im sure ill apologize later.
Don't. Because you're right. Still... Dolphins fans, errr, South Florida sports fans... for the most part... SUCK. I'd trade this fan base for the Jets fan base any day of the week.
Noooo trust me you would not trade this fan base for the Jets fan base. Jets fans go into hiding whenever they lose. And the Phins have a great national following.
New Yorkers will fill those seats at 0-15 in week 17. Say all the bad you want about them and I'll probably agree, but their fans are as loyal as it gets.
That stadium was packed during the first half, the second half---eh, nevermind. I know alot of us moved from the top row of the stadium today, a freaking bee hive was just hanging around and stung a couple of people.
Are you serious? That is nuts! It just seemed that every time they showed a shot of the stadium, all you saw were orange seats (and that was in the first half).
Honestly, the stadium is only packed for prime time night games and Pats, Jets, and Bills games. And half the time, those fans show us up. It's sad, really. I hate this fan base with a passion. This is a sit at home and watch from the couch group... every poster in this thread needs to purchase season tickets next year.
I know at the beggining of the game (first 5 mins or so) the gates were packed because of cheap trick playing outside. Maybe 3,000 people trying to get it. I think I was fondled to be honest, we were so packed. Could explain why pregame shots of the stadium looked empty.
they might fill the seats, but thats because New York has like 10 times the population in a fraction of the space.
Our fans have been excellent this year, the team had chances to bring momentum home for a big game and could not do so, on several occasions...Also we have not been a good home team this year, which takes its toll.
