What did Bob Davie or Ty do after leaving ND? It's where mediocre coaches stay mediocre. Once they get a good coach we'll see if you're right. Weis showed, imo, that ND can get good recruits. But, even if they cant get UF/SC lvl talent, (which has a lot to do with not having a backyard full of talent. This makes it easier on the Florida/TX/SC schools). they can get enough talent to beat the Syracuses and UConn's of the world. Once they start doing that, then Ill care more about the larger issue of whether they can return to the top.
