So I am in the process of writing a novel and I really can't get motivated to write unless I get feedback from people (yes, I am a praise whore). Anyway if anyone is interested in reading the first seven or eight chapters then let me know. The book is called WeatherMaster and it is a young adult urban fantasy. Basically the book is your run of the mill hero story with my own little twists and turns. The main character can manipulate the weather and is one of 12 'Masters' who can control various things in the world. All is explained in the book. Let me know if you want it to give it a shot, give me your email and I will send it to you.
Email Removed, Got it, Will Read Later I write a lot of stuff...hardly ever finish. Could use a bit of inspiration myself, reading often does it for me.
If you ever want to brain storm, or just throw some ideas you have out there send me a PM. I know sometimes your ideas sound great in your head, then other people kind of look at you crazy so if you ever want to run an idea by someone just let me know.
with as much spiders that crawl these forums.. you guys might want to PM him your email. I remember when I was actually admining.. seeing at butload of spiders on here crawling for info... don't be suprised when your spam count goes up.
Alright so I read the first two chapters and I like the premise but I feel a bit lost when it comes to the origins of these powers and some of the characters and their past interactions. Now it might be explained later but thus far I feel a bit lost. Like the action though seems like a fun novel to read.
Yeah its a gradual pullback as to what is going on and the origins of it all. Glad to see that you are enjoying it thus far! Some answers are coming in Chapter 3!
Wow blast form the past. I completely forgot about that. I need to dig it up and finish what you previously sent to me.
Thanks man, I appreciate it. For all those wanting to offer a helping hand without reading any of the actual book. You can let me know what you think of my query letter that I'm sending to agents. Basically a query letter is a combination of a 'back of the book' blurb and your book pitch. Basically, all I need to know is if you would consider reading the whole thing based on these few paragraphs. I'm not sure why it appears as a giant block of text like that, but my request is the same.
