He is an ENDORSEMENT guy.....whatever his annual income is, I would wager 10% is golf performance and 90% is ENDORSEMENTS. Endorsements = image. He presents himself and the products he represents under an aura of trust. So his image is trust and thus worthiness. So, like many other IMAGE-concious folks (including Politicians, and Business Leaders, etc) if they are not trustworthy, you cant take their word for something, their sponsorship for something, therefore if they are cheaters that speaks to his public perception of trust. The public has a right to know.....otherwise stay private in everything and then you are entitled to privacy.
The day he became a Billionaire they broke down his income. He has made $92,862,539 from playing golf. All the other money that came to bring his net worth to $1 billion is from advertising, appearance fee's, autographs, name trademarks, clothing, etc. So you are correct.
