Whenever I change the channel between the Big XII and ACC championship a big play happens. I keep missing them!
CJ Spiller is a flippin beast man, goodness he just is explosive as he possibly could be and he is close to TD #4 and already has 230 yds or something
As much as I hate the publicity he gets, I feel bad for him because he works so damn hard and deserves every bit of success he gets. I respect the hell out of him for his comments that he had after the game, despite being emotional.
I dunno about Alabama vs TCU being a blowout. I think a Gary Patterson coached team has a chance in every game.
No its not. Texas is garbage. If Nebraska had any kind of offense they would have beat Texas. Hell if they didn't directional kick it they win that game. Bama wins big.
If the replay crew didnt save the Big 12 and Texas Nebraska would have beat them. I still cant believe how McCoy managed the end of the game. Should have gone down as an all-time blunder.
if mcelroy plays like he did yesterday, alabama is by far the best team in the nation..no team is even close if texas has any shot, well...**** it im not giving them any shot at beating bama
So I got back into town from Atlanta around 5 o clock and all I can say is this. I went into the weekend with indifference to Alabama and their fans. I've never been to a game between the two schools and wasn't old enough to experience the big games between us and them in the 90's. Also I was hoping for a good game no matter what the outcome, and give it to Bama they took it to us. They played their hearts out and we didn't show up, the better team won. With that said I now absolutely loath Bama and their fans. Truly classless in my opinion. When Major Wright got hurt in the game all they do is start chanting roll tide. When an a player goes down whether he be for your team or the other the respectful thing to do is offer silence. But they were full on chanting and going nuts. Then as they were beating us they decided to take our "It's great to be a Florida Gator" and the entire stadium starts chanting "It's great to be from Alabama". Well when we chimed in and chanted it the right way they immediately shut up. But lastly as the game ended and we waited to leave the stadium all 40,000 plus Bama fans decided it was "Ramma Jamma Time". I"ll let the video speak for itself. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuXA9jRSkNs"]YouTube- Hey Gators! We just beat the hell outta you! 2009 SEC Championship Game[/ame] If you can't figure it out it's "hey gators, hey gators we just beat the hell out of you." Lastly I think it's bull**** they are grandfathered in and automatically get more tickets than anybody else. It was like a Alabama home game.
I could def. tell it was a Bama crowd, but honestly I cant say much about the fans, if it was majority Gator fans I seriously doubt they wouldve been all that gracious, nor would almost any major programs fans.
Enjoying the win is one thing, but cheering when an opposing player is hurt is another. And that Ramma Jamma cheer is poor sportsmanship. You can be happy, you can sing your fight song, you can even take out and shake your keys. But cheering that you just beat the hell out of someone isn't needed.
I agree with you...it is almost every schools fans are capable of being idiots. I have seen Alabama fans individually and collectively do unbelievable things and I have also seen Florida fans behave atrociously individually and as a group...I am still in awe how Florida fans did 80,000 dollars damage to a parking garage back when the NCAA torney was in Miami....that is an impressive display. As a group though no one is more obnoxious from a group standpoint IMHO than West Virginia...like I said IMHO all schools do it at times...but WVU is just a higher level.
