Thats what I've been saying about RBs. We are pretty much stocked with talent it seams at that position. Brown was great, Chatman filled in very well when he went down, Ricky will return and since he has no trade value may as well keep him, Cobbs could be useful as a FB/TE, and Dago today looked pretty good.

The only reason I can see drafting McFadden is if we get a sweet deal for him from someone else.

Lack of vision is what has us in these problems in the first place.

Head coaching job is overwhelming for Cam Cameron. We need to keep Cam as Offensive Coordinator. And Hire a proven Head Coach.

I agree, I don't know why people say cam is an offensive genius, he uses norv turner's system, now what is the genius in that ? Id say his offense is ok but ill prepared, granted we don't have great players but he is by far a genius. I don't think the dolphins were really that high on cam when he was hired saban left and we had to find a coach and i thought like a lot of other people here cam would help that with his offensive knowledge of the game but enter randy muller who cuts mc mike kevin carter gives up a 5 th for Trent green, pays 20 mill guaranteed to old porter, trades Chris chambers. I mean are we rebuilding or not doesn't make sense to get rid of veterans for rookies only to bring in more old vet's like green and porter not to mention in the draft we knew we were weak in the secondary and didn't address it at all. we picked Regan Maui in the 5 th he wasn't even going to be drafted at all. So why a fifth ? ted ginn is good but not like an ombyi okoye or a Patrick Willis this team has so many needs it's unreal . And who is going to want to play for this team as far as free agents go ? we are in trouble i'm scared muller and cam are going to finish what jimmy and wanny started.

Have you watched much Arkansas football this year? If yes, i'm sure you've noticed Felix Jones, backup to McFadden's huge season. A whopping 1117 yards on 123 carries with 9.1 YPC. McFadden's average is significantly less at 5.7 ypc. Performance says Felix Jones is the better back.

So don't you think it might be a possibility that Arkansas just has a really good run blocking schemes, which McFadden(and the rest of Arkanas' running backs) were a beneficiary of, rather than him being that great.

He's a solid player, and i'd say it's probable he will have success in the NFL. But it's also possible that he will be a big bust, just like Reggie Bush. Either way, as of this moment, McFadden is (brace yourself) overrated.

Where was Jones at ,for the Heisman?Felix is a good back.
DMac will be a great back (a gamechanger).
I'd trade 3 Ronnie Browns for DMac,and I like Ronnie alot.

If he were the starter i'd imagine he'd be where McFadden finished. Kind of the point.

Not that the heisman matters. What maybe 1 out of every 5 Heisman winners has NFL success. Probably less than that.

Hey Reggie Bush won the Heisman 2 years ago how's he doin?

That McFadden is a fine prospect, but certainly not a sure thing which is why Miami SHOULD draft based on what they need and not what is the 'sexy pick'

Maybe McFadden averaged less because he had 250% more carries compared to Jones and since Arkansas has no other offensive threat as equal to McFadden, perhaps defenses tried to take his opportunities to be more successful away.

To say McFadden is overrated is non-sense. Guy scored three TD's against the LSU defense.

Thing of it is Kudda, we have 98% "needs" and yet another "poor" draft to deal with those needs.

Dorsey could be Tim Bowens and still be skunked talent wise by Enter the Dragon, McFadden...

Guy didn't, Arkansas did. Sounds like just another one of the many people who believe no one else is responsible for a successful running game than the running back.

I've seen enough holes created by arkansas blocking schemes that you could drive a semi truck through, that have brought me to this conclusion. Of course to be fair i've also seen McFadden make some plays out of nothing at times.

Not saying McFadden won't be good. Just that it's probable the system he's in makes him look better than he really is.

Jerry Jones is in Love with Dmac. And Randy Muller, can start talking trade with Jerry for DMAC's rights.

If the Dolphins are lookin for a back, they've got to look no further than my boy Cory Boyd from South Carolina, in the 3rd or 4th round.

I guess you've got a point though, this draft isn't particularly stacked with eye-popping talent.

So I guess it wouldn't be unforgivable to pick the perceived best player available, but i'll still be leaning towards drafting defense.

This has already been discussed . . . . if Jerry Jones LOVES McFadden . . . . he can give up his 2 #1's, a 2nd, a third and next years #1 . . . and he can have him . . . . We in turn would have 5 picks in the top 32 for 2008/2009 drafts and 3 additional 2nd rounders for the 2 drafts . . . . .that would be 8 players in the top 64 for 2008/2009 . . . this team would be right back in the hunt after all of those picks.

if the team picking 2nd doesn't need a RB, then why would Dallas trade with us?

you convince everyone that you're taking McFadden, then if they call your bluff and don't trade, you actually take McFadden. Then Negotiations pickup. If they don't give you what you want, you have a great RB or 20 other teams in need of a star back to negotiate with.

If I am Wayne H. I call Cam into my office, and in my best Samuel Jackson impersonation I tell Cam, "Look Mutha------, give me at least one win this season, or pack your sh--, and get the hell outta here."

Cam did a good job of 'blowing up" the team, but if he can't get one win, we need to bring someone else in to rebuild, and not waste any more time with Cam. 0-16 is unacceptable!
