Miami and all us fans need to take Buffalo very serious and do not under estimate them and look pass them, if Miami let's their guard down Buffalo could win the game. Now let me explain why this is the most important game of the season. At this point the Patriots are leading the division at 7-3 that puts us two games back. New England is playing New Orleans on Monday night so they could lose and be 7-4 and if we win we will be one game back. So then we will be riding a three game winning streak which does benefit your team, so momentum will be on the dolphins side for their next opponent which by the way is no other than the Patriots. Now the Patriots will have a short week from Monday night to Sunday and I am hoping that Sunday it will be extremely hot in Miami because if the things I mentioned happened and Miami wins by 11 points or more our dolphins will be 1st in the afc east... What's your thoughts ?

At this point, with us back 2 games and the season moving along, whatever the next game on the schedule is, is our most important game.

Actually, I disagree. I see another blowout. This coming from a guy who has turned into a bit of a pessimist and expects the worst each game. I see no way the bills stop our running game. They're dead last in Run D for a reason. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ricky, or Lex for that matter to have a career game. On offense, the Bills already have no tackles, and now they just lost both their starting guards for the year. Lynch left last game on a stretcher. Sorry, not seeing any close game here. Miami will win considerably. NE will be the most important game of the season.

For Miami to take over 1st in AFC East

Over the next two weeks we do have an opportunity to take over 1st place in the AFC East. Of course it starts with a win in Buffalo and agree, we can't take them lightly. Division rival, wounded animal, players attempting to make themselves look attractive to the new regime as well as other teams to get out of there. Then we have to be pulling for the Saints to beat that Pats.

That would put us one game back heading into the game in Miami, as you pointed out. All Miami has to do is win that game and we take possession of 1st place in the AFC East. We do not have to win by 11 points as I understand the tie break rules.

The first tie break is simply head to head, nothing to do with point differential. In this case we would be 1-1, move to the next tie break.

Which is Division Record. This is where we OWN the Pats as we would be 5-1, having played all our division games and they would already have 2 division loses, Jests and is.

So in reality, if all of the above falls in place, we don't need a better record at the end of the season to win the division, we simply have to be tied with the Pats. Just like last year, with one exception.

Since winning the division by tie break, we have had to hear Pat fans whine and cry (like Rex Ryan, LOL) about how they lost the division because their precious was injured. Well now I would love nothing more for Miami to win the division with our back up QB starting most of the season, and shove that right down their throats!

    Happy Turkey Day everyone.

We DO NOT lose games we are supposed to win, has not happened since Sparano took over. Tony got away from the "one game at a time stuff" before we started these 3 games before NE. He said we have to win all three.

We got two so far. I can guarantee this team will close out the third. It was their focus two weeks ago.

a BillParcells team  never looks past an up-coming game
it will be played out in the same consistently brutal fashion, as always
respect & brutality is what they will get from the Miami Dolphins
with a good dose of Ricky Williams thrown into the mix

should be a great game to watch
expect Miami to be @ their best

I don't see Sparano as a coach who lets his team look past any team. If nothing else they have been more prepared than I can remember for some time. The rest comes down to execution.

    Go Phins!

We have had a few extra days to get healthy. I expect Buffalo burgers, watching Mon night, and looking forward to the Brady bunch to "bring it."

This is still the NFL and any given sunday anything can happen. There are no layups especially when we dont really do a good job stopping teams or blow anyone out. Fred Jackson is a capable back and Evans and Owens can make plays if they get the ball. Every game is a playoff game from here out.

The Bills are awful. I expect to beat them and if we don't then Miami isn't good enough to make the playoffs.

we are at a point now where every game that is played automatically becomes the most important one of the season, this weeks its the bills, next week its the pats, of course we have to win every one of them

personally, I don't think the Bills game is any more important then any of the 6 we have left. We put ourselves in a huge hole to start the season and if we are going to make the playoffs these last 6 games are part of the digging out process.

having said that, if we lose to the Bills we are done. No way we are going to run the table on the Pats, Jags, Titans, Texans and Steelers.

i agree. we have alot of injuries that we have to play through in this game. we need to play well and gear up for the late season push. this is a far more important game then i think a lot of fans give credit for. if we can play well here i think it will fortify our confidence going against new england next week

Bills game also kicks off a tough stretch of 3 of four game being on the road.

Bills, Jags, Titans all are road games.

ahh Jags game is going to be a road home game. It is close to home and there are going to be as many Fins fans there as Jag fans.

Every game is pretty important from here on out. They can basically lose one more to have a good shot at the postseason. This game against the Bills has to be one that can establish momentum for the tough stretch coming up.

On a side not I personally feel I can go ahead and take Buffalo lightly if I want to. I don't think it will affect the outcome.

That's pretty much how I see it AZ. One step at a time and that very next step is the most important - that's the only way we're going to get to our destination.....wherever that may be.

Every game is the most important game of the season, starting week one and ending week seventeen.

Any other mentality and you are finished before you started IMO.
