Was anyone else freaking annoyed that everytime time Simms got a chance, he mentioned the controversial call. My God, it was like he found a new favorite word. I counted at least 6 times that he pointed out the call was controversial. EDIT: Sorry, it wasn't Phil Simms, but it sure sounded like him. My apologies.
the announcers were terrible today, they kept saying that missed field goal was going to cost us, on and on, we know that already... They even said "for those of you who were watching the rams-panthers game or some other team not called the saints, we are joining the dolphin game... There was a flag on the play and they did not bother letting us know who it was on... It was seriously the worst game i ever listen to
The announcers were so bad we should still blame Phil Simms.he may not have been involved ,but he still blows.
Ron Pitts and John Lynch called the game and they were seriously the most inept crew I have ever heard call a game . . . and I spent years listening to Jefferson Pilot/Lincoln Financial/Raycom Sports SEC announcers.
Simms is usually pretty good, or at least competent, but Lynch is bad. but, he hasn't been doing it too long, give him a chance. and yes, they should've mentioned the missed XP and controversial Clayton call repeatedly, because it made a big impact on the game. they did their job.
True! Lynch went on and on and on and on .... During the Saints game, they never even talked about the bad calls against us, they moved on w/ the game. Why these guys couldn't, I don't know. Let's face it, they don't put the A-crew on a game that features a 1-7 team going in. Remember '07 for us? We got the F-crew every week
The FOX announcers were incredibly annoying. Not as bad as the Dallas-GB announcers though. And my god is Collinsworth annoying as hell. For some reason there just isn't many good announcers out there.
Good thing I was at the game and didnt have to hear it. But WTF was Lynch doing calling a Bucs game? They may as well let Boomer start calling Jets games or Marino Dolphins games.
