That is cool i like the part when the guy writes and not a single patriots player came out to greet the Vets thank pat white for giving my son a good example
That speaks a lot about his character. Glad to see character like that on the Miami Dolphins roster. That's an example the Pats and the other Dolphins players should have followed.
Well said. I couldn't agree more. My opinion and respect for Pat White has gone up considerably with this information.
as an aside, it should be mentioned that a lot of the players from both teams were talking with the vets during the stretching & warmups.
I was also at the game, but as a Dolphins fan! The Patriot organization did do a nice job showcasing and thanking our vets. The 'honorary captain' representing each team for the coin flip was an injured warrior from Iraq. I noticed that as they walked off the field several Miami players went to each of them and shook hands and patted them on the back. The young man representing the Patriots was in his early 20's "a lifelong Pats fan", Miami players went to him and he seemed so happy, his mom who was helping him keep his balance walking off the field stopped with him while the Dolphin players went up to him. I thought he must be a Miami fan now! ..and good for him and his parents that he is meeting the players and they seemed to go out of their way to greet him....and then I thought too bad for him that it wasn't the Patriot players, a team he represented..... White is a class act, thanks Pat White.
I know Pat White personally, he grew up in my home town and we're about the same age. I'm really glad he's a Miami Dolphin. You guys are gonna be very happy with this kid in the future. Just give him a little time. Trust me. Not like the other NFL QB from my home town...Jamarcus Russel just sucks. I played against him in high school and he wasn't that good then.
After watching that hilarious video of Pat White meowing at Pitt on YouTube I came to the conclusion that he is a character. It's good to see he also has character.
Thought I should add to this. I go to Shippensburg University, a small state school in southern pennsylvania that isn't that far from WVU. This year i got put into a group with a fellow classmate who transferred from WVU to shippensburg. He played halfback for them his freshman year, got hurt and transferred. I told him i'm a dolphins fan and he said "Pats the real deal man. He doesn't party. no drinking, no smoking, no ****ing around. He's definitely got it together." "...now noel devine..."
