http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ba...itch-jersey-numbers-out-of-res?urn=nba,202372 Miami is the only team other than Chicago to have retired its #23 jersey in honor of Michael Jordan. Coincidence that he announced this in Miami, after playing the HEAT? Or could this be a clear signal from James to Riley and Wade of his intentions come next offseason? If Wade signs his extension in the next few days I guess you could consider it a done deal.
this is the first time ive heard of james to miami.....where you gettin this being a done deal if wade signs?!?!
http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...and-lebronthe-speculations-gaining-steam.html You know, I'm sorry I don't have empirical proof for you discerning sorts. I just thought maybe we could have a little fun with what seem to be some good circumstantial indicators. I'll be sure and post when my prolific investigative reporting job helps me uncover solid proof.
Alot of signs have pointed to King James and D-Wade playing in Miami. Also heard Bosh might even join them. They would have to all take alittle less than Max but wow what a team it would be
ya shaqs 16 a game was so dominate.....**** alonzo mourning was more important to the '06 finals than shaq imo
Why wouldn;t it? The only teams that can offer a MAX to Lebron (besides the Cavs) are Houston, Chicago, New York, MIAMI. which of those teams would be the most ready made to win? kinda obvious which one.
That is so laughable that it isn;t funny. First of all...the Magic can;t sign him. You got rid of that possibility when you picked up Vince and maxed out your cap this year. as for your thinking....I guess you forgot what else is already here. it isn;t like they are gonna play 2 on 5...although they could. and BEAT any of those two teams with 10 other stiffs around them. I told you Magic fans that your window was open for one more year till the Heat added their MAX's... it still stands. and NABOCANE...Wade can't sign his extension till the season is done. He did not sign this past offseason because he would have to have signed a MAX minus 1 year as per NBA rules. he will sign at the end of the season.
BTW...isn;t it funny that a Orlando magic fan would even DARE to say "one and done"..when their team is "None and None"? but by all means...keep throwing rocks at the throne...it is in Los Angeles...leave us alone till you prepare to throw rocks at us ...uh....starting NEXT year.
Shaq's presence alone is enough. IT would be fun to see I just don't see it happening. You forgot Minnesota even though they have no chance in hell. They are certainly putting the pieces together for the future.
Wade and LeBron surrounded by stiffs could win a championship together, let alone with the fact that our surrounding cast would actually be good. Mario Chalmers is a solid NBA point guard that is very good defensively,Beasley is as gifted offensively as they come and cook is a good young shooter. not to mention that if (as unlikely as it is for it to happen) lebron comes to miami that there will be veterans(similar to P.J. Brown with the celtics) lining up at the gate for a chance to win a championship
MJ needed Pippen. Every championship team needs atleast 2 all-star players, you will never see a one man team win a chamionship, it just wont happen.
you guys are arguing about nonsense. bron bron on either the magic or heat automatically takes them to a whole new level, that championship level. wade and bron sick, howard and bron sick. stoopits.
oh theres no doubt that dwight horward with LeBron would be a fantastic duo, i dont think anyone would deny that. Magic fans were the ones starting to talk trash.
this post is so funny on so many levels. psssst....salary cap. so...no. it is actually a FACT that Lebron to Miami is more likely than Bron to LA. unless you meant the clippers.....LOL
And maybe Chris Bosh. http://nba.fanhouse.com/2009/11/18/...-miami?icid=sphere_tribune_sunsentinel_inline
Bron has done the paperwork and will be #6 next year. Not sure why so many people think this means he is leaving. Two points to counter that thought - 1 - By switching teams his jersey sales would already go straight to #1. Why would he also switch numbers? 2 - According to the link below, "players who don't change teams have to apply to change their number in March before the previous season." If he already KNEW he was going to NY or had a wink, wink agreement with Riley, why would he file the unnecessary paperwork to switch jersey numbers right now. And then bring it up nonchalantly in an interview. http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2010/03/lebron_james_files_application.html I believe this is good news to Cleveland fans.
Bron isnt going anywhere Wade isnt going anywhere Bosh is coming to Miami. Maybe Amare too. Take it to the bank.
