quick question, how did Jason Allen do in place of Vontae? I noticed clemons quite a bit during the game, I'm glad we have what should be a good nucleus.

He did ok. His footwork was as bad as you can get though.

I am glad to hear that Clemons is showing signs of being a player. Hopefully he will be the answer to the FS question.

    Glad to hear this.

I was surprised, to say the least, when the Tri passed up Clemons' bigger, taller teammate Michael Hamlin to take the smaller, faster Safety.

But Hamlin hasn't done anything with Dallas; maybe we made the right pick after all.

Clemons is a better player IMO. Hamlin is too stiff in coverage IMO.

I have to admit I liked Hamlin better coming out, but I've liked Clemons and been a big fan since I first saw him in preseason.

To Be fair id rather have Jason Allen than Wilson at least Allen did not cost us a 75 Yard Td Pass after being stiff armed by randy moss Jeremy shockey ETC

Might as well bench Davis as well since he gave up a TD to Moss...

This is one of the most important playters to watch the next few weeks. I think he's our answer at FS but he'll have to develop. I agree with Sparano in that the game doesnt seem to big for him right now which is great since we dont have to go through glaring mistakes while he learns. If Clemons plays the way I think he will we can completely disregard FS in next year's offseason and concentrate on OLB,ILB,NT,TE and WR. Saves us a psoition which is huge since we'll be hard pressed to fill aqll of them as it is

pretty much agree with your assesment... Though I dont think NT is a priority, I think it would be nice to upgrade but I think we can get one more year out of Fergie and Soliai.

While I agree he doesn't seemed fazed by the size of the game, I can't look at what's he's done so far and say he's played well...I've seen him be out of position on passes that have fallen incomplete for different reasons. And I haven't seen him make much of an impact in the run game, if at all. He certainly isn't as good as gibril in the run game..

So Henne has his helmet on so tight so that it doesnt pop off, it still looks uncomfortable as hell.
