I believe that when we send in Pat White and runs right into the line, and Henne comes back in after he was hot, and has now cooled down. Dan not getting Ronnie and Ricky more in the game when the Patriots were giving up 4.5 yards a game. This would have been to Henne's benefit because the defense would have to respect the run. Not having a number 1 wide receiver to go down the field to stretch the defenses out more. This one I throw at Jeff Ireland, and Bill Parcells for not wanting to make a deal for Boldin.

As I have stated and this is the last time, Dan Henning is not helping Henne with his terrible play calling.

This defense must get younger and quicker next year. Wake needs more time to play. We need to get another DT, DE, Inside and outside linebackers, and a WR's whether it is in the draft or FA, I want to see some things progress and get Henne some help.

Tough questions will be do we bring back Porter, Taylor, Ferg, and Allen, just to name a few. Like I said we don't have the mental toughness on this team.

Joey if you are going to run your pie hole to the other team, back it up. If you can't do that, keep the pie hole shut. Let your play on the field speak for itself.

I am getting very tired of watching games slip away this year, when there is no reason why we continue to do it. I don't care if we win against the bottom talent of the league, I want to win against the very best the league has to offer.

We need Boldin here like Boldin needs a fresh start. Hopefully he can come here this Spring.

    Moss was traded for a 4th, Edwards for a 3rd or 5th.

How many times will we pass on these big play recievers.

Heck, TO to Miami in a offseason signing and Boldin in a trade woudl give us one of the best WR tandems in the league.

If TO ever becomes a Dolphin I will do nothing with my time but mail him heavy items in weak bottomed boxes in hopes that it bottoms out and drops on his toe and he never sees the field as a Dolphin.

The guy is cancer pure and simple.

How could you say that? He has been in the past, but this year has shown he can be quiet and still unhappy.

Who would be happy having trent edwards overthrow them? TO can be a great WR in our dink and dunk offense, he can shed tackles if hit in the hands.

Eh, gotta go through the valley to get to the peak ffic.

I thought Henning did what he could, thought Henne looked as if the game is now starting to slow down for him, he is not there yet, he is really close though.

We only ran the option because our passing attack does not so much attack as complain alot, they quite get around to attacking.

And Porter is clearly wearing the "*******" hat today, talk talk talk and that pseudo Rook from the CFL is as productive in 11 snaps as JP has been for the last two games.

If we are going to hold our players feet to the fire, we mind as well stay true to our colors, and hold our coaches to the same fire. Brother Byroan brought up another dandy, WR coach Karl Dorrell. He should be giving his check back he gets every month.

FFIC, I agree with your sentiments for the most part, especially about getting Ricky and Ronnie more involved. I'd love to see us use them more in the passing game, especially if we aren't going to run.

I'm with you on our linebackers, and getting someone to replace Fergy. But I disagree with you on needing DEs. Merling, Langford, Starks, and McDaniel have all made plays at the DE spot.

I know you're looking for pass rush but we don't get that from the DEs in the 3-4 ... it's more on Porter and Taylor for doing next to nothing. It's amazing to me that this team is 6th in the NFL with 21 sacks ... it just doesn't seem like we're getting that much pressure on the passer.

JP is heard more than he is seen this year, if you watch the rerun of the game Porter simply stays glued to his blocker, it almost looks like he is spying on the Qb but Brady was no threat to run.

I love Boldin's talent, but I don't like the fact he has trouble staying healthy, we need someone more durable because if he goes down next season we are back to square one.

Good points brother. I used Boldin because he was really interested in coming here. How much longer are the Miami Dolphins going to pretend we have a number 1 WR? I am up for making something happen at this point. My 6 ft 235 lbs frame at TE would help this team. There is another position that I am very disappointed in. I really miss Martin.

Might not hurt to reach out to see if the 49'ers could be interested in moving their TE, their is a connection to him and our team after all. ;)

Are we as a team do we have too tough of a schedule, not enough depth, and or not the right players and coaches to make it work? I am interested to see what your thoughts are for this record that I feel we have under achieved.

Ferrel Edmonds made a couple of pro bowls...

What bothers me about the Wr corps is they do not rise to challenges, only Greg C has stepped up his level of play, the other 3 sort of are fading away.

    A) young team on offense, especially at Wr and Te, there career start number is really small.

    B) rookie Qb more or less,

    C) I don't feel we underachieved, nor do I feel we overacheived, to me we are playing exactly at the level one would expect, loses to elite teams, wins against mediocre and poor teams.

We have to jump 4 teams to have a shot at the playoffs, we play two of them in the Jags and Texans, those two games will be a great test of the 09 Phins.

The Chargers, Colts, Saints, and Pats we under achieved. Those games were in our grasp, but we as a unit, could not hold on long enough to come up with the victory.

And those teams collective record is what?

    28-5 or so?

Last season with Penny we learned how to beat poor teams, this season it is a whole new level of difficulty.

And keep in mind, those teams have not played each other, the Pats are going to get a dose of the Colts and Saints at their stadiums, it will be interesting to see how that plays out.

The same problems have been glaring in all of our losses and even in our wins

    1) We have no playmaking WR or TE the Trifecta cannot ignore this anymore
    2) We need a stud ILB,a stud Safety and a young stud NT.
    3) Our DBs are talented yet inexperienced and they show alot of promise.
    4) injuries have hurt us.

Owens cant talk because he isnt producing even when the ball is thrown his way. I called it when he went there: Old and Done.

Brother Pete we were in the game, and decided not to use Ricky and Ronnie to there potential. When we punted with 5 minutes left in the 4th qtr you knew the game was over. Why didn't we use R&R more and take time off the clock? Henning will go away from what works in the same game, and game to game. It just baffles me watching him call plays.

Team has the worst play calling inside 2 mins Ive seen in quite sometime. I can't fathom how unprepared this team looks in a 2 min offense. It seems like they don't know what to do.

Not only did we not use R&R, but we didn't do any no huddle to keep the Pats from doing personnel changes. I just feel the team is lacking leadership that it had last year.

Even if we scored a TD there though, we just tie the game, and likely give the ball back to NE with plenty of time for them to get in FG range.

I mean, I know we were in the game, and had a chance to win, but I think it is a bit much to say we should've won, or we let them off the hook.

Pete I respect your opinion bro. If we wanted to win we get a touchdown, and go for the 2 point conversion. I just feel when we punted the ball away we were giving the game up. We were a 10.5 dog there and we were in the game until the end. I just feel we have lost that fire to come from behind and win. I could be wrong, but I don't feel what we had last year, this year.

It might just be me but we have struggled in our base offense when Ginn isn't in there. I know now he is used primarily as a decoy but it seems the defenses are not respecting our Receivers at all. In doing this the running game as taken a hit. I just hope we dont embarrass ourselves against the Bucs.
