    True - to an extent.

Ginn's limits are self-inflicted; no one else but him is responsible for dropping balls that he looks right into his hands.

Bess is nearly automatic for the 1st down, despite the Ginn camp's wanting to characterize him as unreliable now for dropping a couple balls.

Hartline, I think, will be the best of this current bunch eventually, as everyone complaining about his 4.5 speed will see when he gets his NFL legs under him.

But look at it objectively: the overwhelming majority of teams - Super Bowl teams included - don't have a blazer like Ginn on the roster; they make do with guys that are serviceable-to-excellent...like Bess and Camarillo.

And of that tier of Receivers, you would be hard-pressed to point out a pair on one team that has been as clutch over the last season and a half as those two.

My point is that now even the two guys that came to us fully formed seem to be struggling, let alone our resident underachiever and a 5th-round rookie.

It makes sense in this scenario that we should at least be able to ask the question: Are these guys being coached to be their best?

About three weeks ago is when I started questioning it (during the break). I think we arent getting anything positive from his coaching. I dont see any of our receivers improving or impressing in any way. Maybe he's good at teaching them how to block but I dont see the results and I'm not looking for Pro Bowl stuff justy little things like route running and hands

hahaha, yea, three fumbles, two were momentum changers, one cost us 7 points, four dropped passes, two games.. no issues there.

Hey, at least the Ginn camp isn't dressing Devone in lil fairy dresses or are moving him to right tackle.. that's an improvenment eh..

I agree that the coaching could be questionable......hell for that matter we have some other coaches that kinda questionable themselves.

I still think this WR unit will fail to improve much until we get more talent at the position.

Henne throwing lazers to Ginn is a waste of time. He needs to be able to run under the ball or have it fall into his arms with an arc on it like Penny used to do. Not sure how you can coach someone to grow a pair and fight for a ball.......Chambers never learned it and he was a more polished WR than Ginn will likely ever be.

No but for some strange reason, Sunday's TD "returns" got them all excited cuz it allowed them to come out of hiding, even tho those 0 catches he had, did nothing to change the fact he's been sucking out loud as a WR. :shifty:

I haven't said anything positive or negative about Ginn's play on Sunday that I didn't think I could say prior to the game. I definitely do not feel like I have been hiding.

I never would've made a thread calling anyone out for their opinion of Ginn either, given that it was just one game, unless it was someone who was saying "he should be cut," "we'd be a better team without him," or "he doesn't have the talent to be in the NFL."

I have 0 problem saying he has sucked out loud at WR for the 3 of the games this season given what I am actually able to see when watching a game.

    That's what I mean.

Our Receivers seem to be getting along on just ability lately, and you see a degradation of fundamentals everywhere; sometimes it's subtle, sometimes - like with Ginn - it's a glaring regression.

A Middle-Manager with such a specific area of responsibility needs to have that little section of the domain as a whole running like a clock, or he's not doing his job.

Anyone who returns a kick/punt for a TD in the NFL deserves some praise, even if that is always the ultimate goal of a returner. You are not supposed to get a TD on every return, or even 1 out of every 3.

Yea, but it is more likely for him not to get another return TD for the rest of the year than it is for him to even get one (let alone 1 in 3).

I mean there were only 13 kick return TDs all last year, and while there are 10 KR TDs this year at the halfway point, it is rare for any KR to have more than one TD in a year, and typically there are only 2-4 guys a year with 2 (Ginn and Harvin already have 2 each).

Whenever I see a statement like this it reminds me of FH. We are all 'true fans' here. Just because someone does act/think exactly like you doesn't make the any less of a fan. I mean really, we are all posting on a dolphins forum. You have to be pretty damn die hard to be here.

I would love a filter on the forums to eliminate that phrase from posts.

This isn't anything against you Free. I love your posts; you are an awesome fan. So don't take it as an attack. I just remember that was one of my frustrations at the other site.
