His physical style of play is definitely the major upside with Davis. It did hurt him on one play yesterday when he tried to make a play on a 7 yard pass and ended up giving Cotchery a huge gain because he didn't try and just wrap him up. But we are talking about a 1st year player making a rookie mistake and hopefully he will have learned from that. But for the most part yesterday, I was very impressed with Davis.

I could see him as a play-making safety

smith, davis & clemons are excellent & will only get better with each passing game
should be noted that wilson found his game in the middle of that confusion
will they alternate wilson & clemons according to down & situation?

I think Davis is adjusting well, and he is a GREAT tackler and big hitter. Future is bright at the corner spot.

he had a beast hit on Thomas Jones and another good *** hit that caused a Jets WR to drop the ball and got his bell rung.

he also has been makin great tackles on special teams

the first one was the one he really nailed him on. it was right after sanchez threw. he hit him hard. dirty sanchez took his time getting up and looked a little flustered to me.

the second one was good, but not as nice of a hit. it was close though, but it was also a sack.
