http://the506.com/nflmaps/2009/09-CBS-E.html Basically the Dolphins-Patriots game is everywhere that doesnt have a team playing. Basically if your in Ravens/Bengals/Texans/Colts/Chiefs area you wont have it. And JAX will have infomercials of course. NY market will have the Fins/Pats obviously since no other game makes sense in this market. We have Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdof.
Not sure what is worse . . . The fact that I wont be getting the Phins game or that I will have to listen to Solomon Wilcots call the Texans/Colts game (which could be a good game btw)
the Bucs are playing at 1, i guess...gotta go to the bar then. first game that won't be playing in Tampa this year
Is it just me, or are these getting published really early this year. In year's past, these maps wouldn't be ready till Thursday!
Yay can't wait to watch Indy again. I swear the Manning love affair in Tennessee never ends...at least its better than watching the Titans.
Springfield,Ill. is getting Houston @ Indianapolis and Chicago is a blank area so I guess they haven't picked a game yet.
i think the NFL has a rule where if a team in the home market is playing a home game on one channel they won't play another game on the other channel at the same time.
I just checked tvguide.com for the listings on Sunday for my zip code (orlando) and it shows us getting the game on locally here in orlando!!!!! Whoooooooo hooooooo
Chicago are playing on Fox at the same time so the CBS coverage is blacked out, which is why it is gray on the map.
Yes I think that is the case, which is why Chicago is grayed out for Astro. I know that has happened to me here in MN when Vikes play at home.
Kinda crappy for CBS. They have the double-header this week and one of the games is blacked out in some places (Tampa). For an 0-7 team to boot. Thank goodness for Sunday Ticket.
Really? Is it different in New York City market since we have two teams? Well one real team and a joke franchise for the other. But, you know what I mean. The Jets/Fins game and Giants game were on at the same time here this week.
Wow. You mean they're going to play a Miami game over Jacksonville here in Orlando? It must be because of Tom Brady.
No, its because enough of us raised hell with Channel 6 over the years and they listened and have done whatever hey could to show the Phins games. As long as Jax is at home we get the Phins. If Jax is on the road we are stuck with them (unless its a double for CBS and the games start at different times). I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE JAGS MOVE TO L.A.!!!
