I really did not see the 3rd one coming. Guess Ginn will garner some attention? Anyway, here's the link: The Pats Suck!
Ginn is definitely a weapon. Despite all the over reacting after his horrible game against NO, he is somebody DCs worry about. He changes coverages and draws the #1 CB. Now that he's returning kicks he's also something that STs coaches worry about. He may or may not return one to the house next week but at a minimum there should be more space in the middle as coverage units will be worried about collapsing inside too quick.
I could give you the top two keys to stopping the Dolphins without even reading the article: 1) Stop the run without having to bring up your safeties. Whether it's the wildcat or the base offense, if you stop the run and leave your safeties free for coverage, we're dead. We don't have a true number one WR, so the only way we can have a passing game is if we force the other team to change their defensive scheme to stop the run. 2) Pass the ball. Don't try to run on key downs, don't try to run on third and short, just pass the ball.
I think this is the Pats first and best option. If we can't slow them down and prevent scores, we'll be forced into a one-dimensional (i.e., pass) offense. And that's now how we're going to win games.
Ginn went deep twice yesterday and I think got open, but we couldnt get the ball to him. Thats what Sparano said. Expect to see him running around the field on offense more, which is what we need. Hopefully we get the ball to him or someone else.and hopefully he catches it.
the patriots are getting TWO weeks to prepare to face us. and given how the wildcat was shut down in the last two games, thats not a good situation for us. they will have PLENTY of time to study and practice. i think our best chance to win this game is to have the coaches bring mark duper in to work with ginn, since ginn wont return his e-mail. some one needs to teach this kid how to catch, and not shy away from contact. or they ought to call ST. Thomas and see if chris carter, their wide receivers coach, will come over for a week and work with ted. he used to be a dolphin, and we arent playing the vikings at all, so why wouldnt he help out? i think ginn CAN be more productive. he is just too stupid and scared. it would be INCREDIBLE if this kid grew up this season and started to show us all something. if that doesnt happen, im sure he isnt here next year. and if thats the case, i hope he doesnt all of a sudden grow up when he starts playing for some one else. and i think we need to leave him on kick offs for as long as he is here. should have been that way all the time. i was never impressed with patrick cobbs' returns. im hearing that yesterday was ginn's FIRST career return. is that correct? i know ive seen him do it myself, atleast twice last season. has every one he ran back untill this point, been called back by penalties? were those actually his frist two credited returns? i dont want this to sound like im bashing ted ginn. but im not ready to kiss his @$$ after one game. i hope he has learned a lot in the past week. i hope he has a new found respect for his role and goes out there and shows some huslte and determination more often.
this will be the biggest game of the season until the next time we play them I predict a Miami win & the end of Brady's season due to injury I'm sure we will be up for the game
