for all the knocks on T. Ginn, he doesnt hang his head....I watched him bust tail to make a play and strip Sharper...turn a negative into a positive. He acccomplished that but gets zero credit cause the ref blew the call......

Yeah it's all one big conspiracy, the refs, the league, and even the President are all in on making the Saints Superbowl champs. I mean they're not any good just look at their record and how they've been playing. Just like in the past when everything was rigged so the Saints could win and win and win. This whole world is out to get the Dolphins, I am not gonna' take it anymore!!!

Settle down RandomSaintsFanGuy. It was clearly a horrible call that cost us the game, but I guess it's no big deal.

It goes both ways. Watch MLB Johnathan Vilma getting held and Ricky racing past him for a 68 yard TD. You don't need a special angle from SI to see that.

It didn't cost you the game, that would still make the score 39-35, I mean every team has some bad calls/things happen to them...just like instant replay being down earlier in the game.

Question, if we had the lead at the end of the game do you think Henne is throwing on the 4th down that allows you to get a pick 6?

The game had a few bad calls. They screwed the Saints on a red flag challenge also because the equipment was not working.

It's funny that not one Dolphins fan is upset over the painfully-obvious incompletion, at which time the replay system, for the first time in NFL history, happened to be non-functional.

Oh wait...I'm sorry....inept refereeing is a non-issue when the Dolphins benefit from it.

    Gotcha.

You're missing the point.....if refs are having an "off" day, there is no guarantee that only one team is going to get bad calls.

you're gonna compare a first down at the far end 35 yard line to this?

    how can you argue against
    A. the magnitude of this miscall.
    B. how awful this miscall was. just plain bad reffing. it wasnt even close.

    Really?

This argument is like a drunk driver complaining that a cop let a speeder go to pull him over instead.

The equipment didn't work. That's not the ref's fault. They would have overturned it. It did not result in points on that drive. The blown TD call cost us the game. Huge difference.

Well lets be honest, you guys were shut down offensively in the second half. So if henne was handing off or passing I really don't think it would have mattered. The touchdown before the half was what really got the team back into it emotionally. I mean your talking like everything was working great for you guys up until that point and it wasn't until then that it went downhill.

The Dolphins owned the 1st half and we owned the 2nd, don't forget the call that really cost you was the one that your head coach made before the half to call timeout.

I mean seriously you guys were up by 21, be mad at your team for repeatedly faltering in the second half, don't be mad at one call that went against you.

Well, since you're going off-topic and discussing the play before half, let's discuss how that call was blown as well.

If the correct call is made on the field, you guys don't even get to the line in time for a FG. Much less have any chance at a TD.

And no, you would not have won without the 2 Pick 6's. I'm sorry.

LMAO...ok...refs are only allowed to blow calls on certain sides of the field.....GREAT ARGUMENT!

I love the logic of scorned fans. Ever heard of the butterfly effect?

Is there any guarantee that Miami would have not gone 3 and out even if they took over at the 20? Or for all you know, Henne might have fumbled a snap or something. You act as if the rest of the game would have played out identical. Case in point. Last week against the Giants, the Saints gave the ball up on 4th down, at the goal line. A few plays later, Eli fumbles the ball, and the Saints end up getting their TD anyway.

And yes, I'm aware that it's a 2 way street. It might have taken longer for the Saints to build up their momentum. Key word: "might" have. There are so many unknowns. For all you know, the saints could have been down by 13 points with 2 minutes to go.......scored a TD.....then recovered an onside kick after the ball bounced off one of those "sure handed" receivers you guys have. LMAO.

If this play was a game winning TD for the Saints with 30 seconds left, then I could reasonably understand the *****ing. But it wasn't, it was with 14:00 minutes or so to go in the 3rd quarter. Get over it. Your team choked.

they blew way more calls against us. they gift wrapped momentum going into the second half, and iced it in the 3rd and 4th quarters. granted, we got away from what had stifled the saints in the first half. coaching, and certain players failing hurt us too. it was a combination of many things, including a ton of help from the refs, that let them back into the game.

If it was so blatantly obvious at the time (to the point where irrefutable evidence could overturn it......) then why didn't we see a conclusive camera angle on TV? After all, we got to see a conclusive camera angle when that "1st down catch" bounced into a receiver's stomach off the ground. LOL.

No one is saying that the outcome would have been the same if that TD would be have been negated. We feel that it's more likely that we would do the smart thing at that point and run the ****ing ball to run out the clock... and maybe come out of that game with a W instead of a L.

    LOL. Ok, bud.

You're on an opposing team's message board, the Thursday after your team wins, arguing a horrible call wasn't a big deal?

Bad calls affect games. It happens. It happened Sunday. Despite being handed this game, you guys have a good team. Stop crying.

Did you guys miss the broken replay equipment in the 1st quarter on a clearly incomplete pass that allowed the dolphins a free touchdown and changed the momentum of the game? Jeeez!!!

Now you bring up a good question (and one that has been brought up already in this thread). Why wasn't there a clear camera angle for this? You'd think that cameras would be fixed at the goal lines as that seems to be a pretty important part of the field. But you just can't deny that it was a bad call regardless of whether there was a video camera angle or not.

    Handed the game.

Yeah, Mike Bell pwn-ing Channing Crowder Pea Soup and Jeremy Shockey stiff arming a guy for what seemed like a good 15 or 20 yards, as well as Reggie's acrobatic TD, not to mention Tedd Ginn n Juice's "stellar" game...had nothing to do with it. You're right, the saints were "handed" a game.

I noticed that nobody commented on the blatant "non-holding-call" that was posted on Rickey's TD run.

    Oh, I see.
Machine not working = refs sabotaging it, right?
Machine not working, isn't the asme as ref looking at the guy turn the ball over, directly in front of him, and not calling it. On the Bess drop, refs did not see it directly, and it would get overturned if the machine worked, it didin't, and the refs couldn't do squat about it.

Yes, you were handed the game. There were arguably 21 points you scored as a direct result of blown calls.

You guys are good enough, you don't need favorable calls like that to help you.
