I posted this at another site, and felt I should post it here.

Here's the thing with Ted Ginn that kinda puts things into perspective. Coaches, players, and fans alike...take heed. This guy, SINGLE-HANDEDLY cost us anywhere from 12 to 14 points, which in this case, cost us the game. The pick 6 that occurred was because of him. There's a TD for the Saints and an extra point. Total of 7 points. The TD that he dropped in the endzone, there's another 6, maybe 7 points.

Now, this isn't to say that we would've won the game had he not been screwing up, but critical mistakes and mental lapses do us no good. We're not the Saints, in where we can screw around for a half and still win a game. We're not at the point yet. In a nutshell, I can't see this Ted Ginn "experiment" lasting much longer.

This is the second game where his critical mistakes could have potentially (and probably did) cost us the game. Ted just isn't mentally "there" so to speak. I think it would be best for his career if he didn't play in Miami after this season. The fans didn't want to draft him to start with, the media is ripping him to shreds this week...his confidence has to be shot, when basically an entire city is starting to turn on you. Just my two cents.

you dont know that, none of do, and the way he has been this year on returns, id rather try someone else.. Its too bad chris williams couldnt catch kicks and punts, because he was definitely quicker than Ginn and hit the holes nicely...

We have tried him on slants and he falls to the ground as soon as he catches the ball, when he catches it. If there is a player within 5-10 yards of him, he drops to the ground.

Go back and look at the hightlights of his kick returning from his rookie season.

Granted, a few of those were called back because of (questionable) penalites, but I think if given the chance on a full-time basis theres no question the guy will take a few to the house.

Besides, would you rather have what we have now on KR's?

The first 7 is definitely on him (although I think we should have gotten a touchback because that ball came out before the friggin endzone ... why is there never a goal line camera when we frickin need one?).

The second one, I was cooking at the time, wasn't that in garbage time? He should have caught it for sure, but that one is kinda low in the heirarchy of mistakes we made. Bess' fumble to me was killer, momentum changer right there. Cam's dumb pass. Fasano drop, Ricky drop. Jesus. I dont' want to explore this any further ...
