The cold wont be aproblem, robots function at peak capacity in the cold. Plus Michigan is ice-*** cold.
The only QB that I think ppl should be worried about in the cold, windy conditions of the Meadowlands......plays for the home team
BZ, thanks. You've come in here and been nothing but courteous. That is really refreshing coming from a rival team fan. Here's hoping we have an injury free game and a big W for the Dolphins.
Your welcome, but for God's sake, don't let it out that there are a few level headed fans out there.... you might start a trend of level headedness. As for the W, We Will take it. BZ
You are fine as long as you act classy, if you start jumping around like a fool, get ready to run. You will get abuse, but just keep cool and you will be fine.
You'll have to do some hard, long fighting to get the W BZ. I won't tell anyone about you level headed fans, no problem.
I've been going since the Jets came to Giants Stadium, I would say all your points are well taken. But 99% is way overboard, I would say its 60/40. I have stories for you (Like my son at the age of 10 getting beer poured on his head for cheering a TD (The only thing that saved the guy was the Jet fan sitting next to me decking the guy first). I have many more stories. But I agree, most the Fin fans that get in trouble at games are loud and chest thumping types. I'm lucky now because I have the same seats every year, so they all know me, we cheer but don't rub it in and I go with my son and daughter.
Welcome back BZ. Just read about the Washington injury, that's got to put a damper on your season. I'm curious to see if you think Shonne Green could take on more of a role in this game ... maybe try to run up the middle at our ILBs (who are banged up). Here' s hoping that we can have an injury-free game on Sunday.
Oh, I don't think so, been going for many, many years, I have seen many things. I go with a bunch of Jet fans in a Winnebago, I see the crap that goes on. I have also been to many stadiums (Miami, Tampa, NE, Cleveland, St Louey, Atlanta and Dallas) and most fans were great. I would rate the stadium as respectful fans as follows (Places I have been and I will add the Giants) 1. Tampa (had a blast with the fans) 2. Atlanta 3. Giants (mostly an older crowd, although changing) 4. St Louis 5. Cleveland 6. Dallas 7. NE 8. Jets PS That Washington injury was gruesome, hope he recovers
your , he does throw a light ball, lol, very flutterly, not sure if he was sure about us coming up to the blustery conditions of the meadowlands.
enless either of you has sat at every single seat, during every single game.....it is extremly slanted regardless, cause its impossible to even come close to knowing what the % really is
I'm angry about the Saints loss. I'm hoping Miami is out for blood. BZ, you seem to be a cool guy, and I'd say that I hope for a good game, but I'm hoping for a repeat of Miami vs the Bills a few weeks ago... That and a...
What type of broom do we have? Or is it a new type of broom....like a Swiffer? Time to Swiffer away the Jets, folks.
Respect. I wont say 'good game' though. I know too many Jet fans. I don't want a 'good game'. I want a mudhole stomping that makes that horrid Fireman Ed and his neanderthal cronies drag their knuckles out the door at half time. Stomp. Them. Out. Shut Jabba's mouth once and for all and END THE HYPE.
I think Miami takes this game. I don't see the Jets stopping the run without Jenkins and their offense really loses something without Leon washington.
Our offense really loses something? He got hurt on his first carry of the game and we still put up 321 yards of rushing.
and you played us already, and didnt come close to those rushing yards.....3 weeks ago.....so how is rushing on a totally different (terrible) team relevant at all?
It's a high school caliber Rush defense. Let's see how that goes against the Number #4 Rush D in the league.
It isn't about being impressed, it is about looking in the Wins column. Our defense is back to playing pretty well, sure Jenkins out hurts, but they will just change the scheme, do more 4 man fronts and bring pressure in from the LBs. I like the spread on this, 3.5. I basically says, Jets are home. That is all. I have no early feelings about this game other than it is about the run. The test will be, if the run gets stuffed early will Shotty start licking his lips at those two rookie corners and want to try a few passes down field. If we get Cotchery back, it makes a lot of matchup problems for the Dolphins. On the Jets, it is up to stopping the run, making tackles and getting off blocks. We do that, we win. BZ
We really have to listen to this again? Seriously? So, you don't have to worry about Henne and our passing game at all? Seems to me that's the approach your pompous coaching staff took 3 weeks ago in Miami, and it got them burned. I don't know who's going to win this game (it should be another close contest) but you better PRAY that your team finds a way to win @ home because the Jets season is over with a loss, simply put. 1-3 in the division with roadies to New England and Buffalo still looming on the schedule. Hello, at best, 2-4 (you're not beating NE in Foxborough, absolutely NO CHANCE) or gulp... 1-5.
If our season is over at 4-4, your season is toast at 2-4 and burnt toast at 2-5. The game plan on MNF was fine, the execution was not. Ginn had one nice catch (as opposed to his normal many drops) and Chad Henne wasn't touched. Neither of those things do I expect again in a hostile meadowlands. Sure, Ricky/Ronnie are going to get their touches and might get a ton of yards, but the plan is still is to stop that and let our secondary take out your WRs and Henne. Just like last time, I like our chances in this game, at home, with Pace back in form, with Shepard back on the field and Cotchery back. BZ
Are we sure Sheppard is going to be back? I don't want it to be like it was against Buffalo where he was playing hurt (and bad).
Whats the over/under on how many Hot Dogs Sanchez is going to eat? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWhBwpshxlY"]YouTube - Jets QB Mark Sanchez Eats Hot Dog During Raiders vs. Jets[/ame]
pace doesnt worry me. hes over rated as they come. shepard.......lito shepard? lol ok. rhodes and revis scare me. and cotchery.....hes not 100% from a very serious hamstring injury......sure it might feel like he can go in practice....but everyone goes harder during the game, i would be worried....hamstring injuries are nasty. besides, snatchez only stares down edwards anyways
Your game plan was fine my ***. You guys were torched by Henne... hell even if you take away the bomb to Ginn, Henne beat you with two throws to Camarillo on that last drive, and guess what? Each time, you brought the house... And who said our season isn't already over? We needed that Saints game in the worst way and couldn't get it. I guess its possible we can sweep back-to-back divisional roadies, but I don't like our chances in NE with them coming off a bye. Regardless, nothing would make me happier than to end your season this week. And FYI, being 4-4 and 4-0 in the division is alot different than being 4-4 and 1-3 in the division. Just sayin'.
Whats the difference? Have you actually watched Lito Sheppard for...ohhhh the last 1-1/2 years? Including your preseason? This guy is terrible. I mean he is absolutely TERRIBLE!!! It is very unfortunate for your organization you feel he is as step up.
