not that i disagree with his statements ... outside of nonsense vs nonesense ... but why does Crowder have to be the voice of this team when he isn't even one of the better players on the team ..........

Pace had his *** handed to him and he promptly placed it on top of his head.

Kudos to the Phins for sticking up for their team and teammates.

cause he is our defensive captain. he calls the plays. he has the green dot on his helmet. he learned from zach himself. he may not be all-world inside linebacker. but our FO thought enough of him to sign him to an extended contract. crowder is our teams voice....and i agree with everything he said.

Its a rivalry, and one of the most heated...if not THE most heated rivalries in the NFL. Of course they are going to talk smack. I've got no problem with Crowder talking. Especially when Rex Ryan called him out first. He is the perfect fit for the Jets as in he is a thug and a punk. And, when the coach rather than giving credit where credit is due, dumps the blame on his team as if there's no way in hell we could ever beat them? Screw Rex. Even Bill Belichick has more integrity than this punk.

The thing that bugs me the most is that he called Chad Henne a CLOWN!!! Somebody on the team needs to address that. Stick up for your QB, even if it is meaningless smack-talk.

    Defend Henne!

I'm of the "Crowder needs to let his play do the talking" crowd....

However, it's just like with TO, Crowder is the FIRST player the media heads to for quotes, because they know he loves to run his mouth.

Calvin Pace and Rex Ryan are both classless, sore losers. Let them say what they want about our team. We beat them. That's all that matters. We drove up and down the field all game long including 3 times in the 4th quarter to win the game against their so called amazing defense. Chad Henne and the Wildcat completely owned the Jets all night long, and that's why we won the game.

The Dolphins-Jets rivalry is back and I love it!

Screw Calvin Pace, I am so glad he didn't sign with us.

How does he get away with calling Henne a clown? Where the heck is his justification in that classless move?

I want to hear what our guys had to say about that one.

the best way to stick up for your team mates is to go out a put in a great perfomance in three weeks when we play them again.

in other words, let your play do the talking.

Normally I would agree with you, I don't really like the trash talking because it can distract the team and inspire your opponents. But the arrogance and poor sportsmanship that the Jet players showed after the game deserves a verbal kick in the nuts*

....assuming they have any. That part of my post comes with an asterisk.

Honestly, he was one of the better defensive players on the field monday night. No its a matter of whether he can keep that up or not.

At one time in NFL history the forward pass was considered a gimmick. Seems to me we are actually running a more pure form of an offense if you go back far enough. So Pace just needs to shut his mouth because he really has no idea what he is talking about. I'm sure Rex will stew on this and try and come up with something for our next meeting. I'm sure there will be something "gimmicky" about it. Pathetic.

"I said some thing and I definitely should have thought about it and re-phrased it a little bit. I respect the Dolphins. They beat us. It's not like they went out there and stole the game from us. They were efficient. They ran the ball and they made plays when they had to."

I read a comment by Jenkins in which he basically said that his team mates were doing a lot of talking when they where 3-0, maybe they should play better "now".

I wonder if Jenkins told Pace to shut his pie hole....
