What the media and so many fans don't understand is, the reason they beat us up last year is mainly because our interior offensive line was a swinging gate.

Yeah they crowded the LOS and tried to bring as many people as possible. But the reason we brought the Wildcat around in the first place was because we couldn't run inside at all.

This year we can run inside, outside, Wildcat, whatever. Against whatever fronts people are bringing.

The Jets are loaded on defense. They've got the talent to be dominant. But nobody out-physicals this offensive front. The mastermind gave up 5.5 yards per play against the Wildcat tonight, and 413 overall. Few people outside the fanbase thought we could be successful on the ground or in the air against him. We were both.

he's a complete jerk...makes this domination (yes it was a domination -- the refs weren't in love w/ our receivers like they were the jet's and we didn't need to resort to fake punts to stay in the game) all the more sweeter

the problem is that we play again in 3 weeks ... and there isn't a damn thing he can do about it ... our offense OWNED his smaller defense ... and he can't scheme or bring anyone is to fix that before the next game.

so we are even, he can't stop our running game, and our passing defense is still a work in progress -- but Smith BETTER have EDWARDS the next go around ... on every down! Davis and Allen were lost against him ...

Nobody hates the Jets more than me. I just find it difficult to dislike Ryan. He is just like his father. Everything is right there in front of you. He ain't hiding nothing. I just watched the post game presser. It's like tough love from a proud father. Maybe it's just my opinion of the fellow BEFORE he arrived at the Jets but I think he is a great coach. It's just too bad the Jets were the first to give him an opportunity because now I cheer against his team every week.

Someone needs to tell Lord Huumongous that no matter how well you "figure out" something, can't do anything about it when your front line is being pancaked.

He's fat, he's obnoxious, he's cocky even though he hasn't done **** as a head coach yet, he won't give credit to the opposing team for laying the smackdown on him....

Pretty effin easy to hate him.

I think Ryan criticizing his own team's performance rather than complimenting our team (as being the better team last night and deserving the win) is about as classless as it gets.

Enjoy dealing with the NY media Ryan when things start to get really bad.

No kidding...just when his team is picking themselves up, dusting themselves off after a very well played game and licking their chops for revenge in three weeks, he opens his fat mouth and, on national television (not some crappy news briefing on Wednesday) blatantly proclaims that the other team didn't WIN ****, his team LOST the game...the other team didn't have talented players, his players just screwed up...and in one fell swoop he singlehandedly erased any taste of vengence in his players mouth and gave the Dolphins players every reason in the world to forget about this victory instantaneously and begin licking their chops for some revenge....what a moron, and a classless moron at that.

Well, last night told the NFL world in big bold letters that it wasn't Rex Ryan and his schemes that stopped the WC last year, but superior talent. We Dolphin fans knew it from just watching the game. They were bigger, stronger and faster across the board than us. These New York Jets are no Baltimore Ravens. Jenkins isn't Ngata. Rhodes isn't Reed....etc. etc. etc. So, if you want to stop the WC and Miami's running game, you better man up in FA and draft day and get yourself some hosses, cause anything less will leave you with Ronnie Brown's footprint on your backside and a beaten down, sullen look on your front side.

Ryan totally mishandled that situation, and further proves day after day that he is not a great Head Coach. Maybe a great defensive coordinator (After this game though who knows), but a great Head Coach he is not.

Like someone else mentioned, you use these types of close losses to motivate your team. Telling them they are awful, and you are embarassed isn't going to endear your players to you.

I mean I do like his honesty. He did drop the ball with not calling timeouts at the end, and being overly cocky. But he demoralized his defense more than Chad Henne, Ronnie Brown, Ted Ginn, and Ricky Williams combined. I have a feeling this is going to be the game that sends them into a tailspin (excuse the pun). Either they are going to rebound hard against Buffalo, or crash and burn.

As hard as it is to believe that Buffalo will pull it out, I think we just gift wrapped them the Jets and set them at their doorstep. They've got a short week to recover from a knock down dragout fight. And are probably seeing the brewings of morale issues behind closed doors. If the Jets lose next week, all that gushing and glowing over Ryan is going to turn into the typical New York flamefest.

All in all, he got what was coming to him. He came into this league running his mouth, he came into this game overly confident, he coached this game overly confident, and got reality checked in the jaw.

Well Ryan didn't come in this league to kiss bellicheats rings, he talked up beating the patsies just like every other media dork. Little did he know Miami won the division, and by his own admission he did not prepare his team properly. But he now knows that the afc east may just go through Sparano and the Miami dolphins! Great Game.

Heres to a good rest and some good practice time to get the secondary up to speed and it helps henne to get some extra time with our guys

    So Coach Big Body says:
Hmmmmmm. Let's see here. Who has played the same offense for 2 years now? Even drafted with it in mind? And who, "Costco-sized version of a regular coach", ran 2 fake punts when their own offense was stuffed?

    Gimmicks? Really, Giant ManBaby?

You have to admit, we stole this game....

Not much the Jets could do with 6 seconds left...

WRONG!!! They had 6 seconds left cause Rex refused to call timeout! He was so arrogant he admitted that he didn't call timeout because he didn't think we'd score a TD.

    Nope.

There were 2 complete and utter BS calls that helped the Jets score. Much different game without those. If we stole the game from anyone it was the refs.

Go back and read Sanchez's stats for example. His completion % was near 50%.
