Calvin Pace is a Douche, plain and simple.

If I didn't see him lying on the ground after every Phins running play, I would never have known he played last night.

He said that last year also.He can't say anything this time around.Still searching for answers,I guess.
Maybe his 4 game suspension was not substance abuse at all, rumor has it he overdosed on a Wildcat that was rammed down his throat.

so he has no problem with his team running the wildcat(or "semenole")

He has no problem with his team relying on fake punts?

Have fun getting abused by Jake Long again in a few weeks.

I have to say, that Jets D does look like the Ravens in that it is extremely DIRTY.

And of course, at the top of that dung heap is this moron.

Gotta walk the walk if you're gonna talk the talk, CALVIN. Shouldn't you be on the back window of a pickup truck getting pissed on by a Dolphin

    3rd & Goal from the 2.
    Six seconds left.
The Fins line up in the Wildcat.
Every one knows what is coming.

All you have to do is line up and stop it Mr. Pace.

If it is such "crap" then it ought to be easy....

as much as people want to call it a gimmick, it's actually one of the only real pure, old school plays still out there. people seem to think that misdirections and runningbacks lining up under center is some new thing....ridiculous. the craziest stunts and wildest gimmicks were all done back in the 20s and 30s. this "line em up and pound em" mentality is kinda silly, there's never been an era where that was what everyone did. there's always been coaches who took advantage of matchups and defiencies in physical talent. Pace sounds like a sore loser.

that "second year clown Quarterback" just out-played your first year pretty-boy.

But keep talking Calvin, we all know you're just bitter because you signed with the wrong team.

Wow, they talk alot of crap after losing a game. Calvin Pace just shut the heck up. Rex Ryan, find a smorgasborg, that serves crow, you want to put out of business, sit down, eat, and shut up!

This was a huge TEAM win. It seemed every series, every play, someone else was called upon and stepped up and made a play. This is a lopsided game without some of the rinky dink PI/illegal contact calls.

    Typical Jets douchebaggery.

When will all us Dolphin fans realize...in the history of the team, the New York Jets have NEVER been beaten. THEY always let the game slip away.

    Asshats.

wow, talk about your typical sore losers, i mean wow... Even the head coach is a sore loser... Give credit where credit is due, I mean Dolphins deserved to win this game... Call it a gimmick, call it what ever you want, it worked for Miami, and has been all season... At the end of the day, its the team that scores the most that gets the W, and well at the end of last night's game, the dolphins were the team that scored the most...

And to go back to Rex Ryan, who said he did not use the timeouts because he did not expect us to score? That made no sense... First off, you need to call timeout to rest your defense, and second, even if they scored the field goal, the timeouts still would have been useless... I mean they would have kicked the field goal with 1 second left, and you still have both your timeouts, where as you call them before the dolphins score, you have more time to score a touchdown if miami does not get the TD.

Pace isn't elite. Not even close. He had a 'career year' last year with 7 sack last year. So why is this guy talking? He should be concerned with his game and improving.

Like Joey Porter said.. studying MMA is cool, but how is that helping you get to the QB?

Less talk more play there Pace.

Lost in all this madness and talks of gimmicks and nonsense, is that the Jets ran not one, but TWO fake punts! Talk about nonsense.

Im enjoying this win like most of you all are, but I already have the game @ the NYJ in a few weeks in the back of my mind.

You gotta believe they are taking this loss beyond personal, I really hope we arrive in NY prepared to shut them up once again.

Calvin Pace sounds like Deion Sanders on the NFL Network. He hates on our offense every chance he gets. He refers to it as using trickery to win, instead of coming out and beating you. As far as I'm concerned, if you can't keep up with our offense then get off the field!

You will get the same response from a playground bully that just got his arse kicked by the scronny little kid who takes Karate every Mon-Wed-Fri too....it's what people do when you shake the very foundation of who they thought they were.

You would have been right up to the point where Ryan and Pace opened their fat mouths...those statements, whether said out of frustration or not, whether they are rescinded by thier authors or not, instantaneously changed the psychological dynamic of the next game. Instead of his Jets being the ones seeking revenge, it will be the Dolphins seeking redemption for the disrespect eschewed upon them by a sore loser who refuses to acknowlege that his opponents are worthy. He just committed the cardinal sin of football.

    Yep...talk about arrogant AND hypocritical...

    Funny story:

I'm watching the game with my 10 yr old son, and as the Jets line up for the second punt, my son blurts out "they're gonna fake it again". To this, being the wise father and astute football fan I am, I responded "no way buddy, no coach will EVER go for two fake punts in a game, not to mention back to back"....and then....Rex Ryan's arrogance gave my 10 yr old boy the opportunity of a lifetime...to look me square in the face, raise one eyebrow and smerk his lips together, and give me the "I told you so" of a lifetime...priceless.

Even worse....read THIS headline from the NY Daily news:

"On night when Mark Sanchez lights up scoreboard, New York Jets defense lays an egg"

Lit up the scoreboard? 12 of 24 for 172 yards and a touchdown is lighting up the scoreboard?

If that's the case, Henne took a ****ing FLAMETHROWER to it, but no respect...none at all. Only that Golden Boy gets praise for mediocrity.

Then again, it IS the Jets.

i never understood how running the Wildcat is a gimmick? why? because its unconventional? well isnt a d-lineman lining up on the line and then dropping back into coverage unconventional? or when a safety blitzes? isnt faking punts unconventional?
