I admit, I had my doubts about Henne. He has erased every doubt I have. Seriously, he played such a great game I'm in tears right now like a little *****. Henne certainly gets the game ball. And what the hell are these orange jersies made of? They have to be made some sort of magic linens or something, those things are ****ing magical. And defense, you ****ing suck.
VERY proud of Henne tonight, but he's got a lot to learn. He checks down A LOT. So far I've seen passes of 50 and 5, with not a whole lot in between. Love the kid and I think he's the man, but I'm looking forward to him making reads and throws on intermediate routes.
I'm holding him to the same standard I hold every other player. He needs to do it more than one game. But yes he had a great night.
i've been saying he's the real deal but I couldnt believe how well he played tonight. I thought we would have to wait till next year to see those kind of games from him. wow just wow
Henne is the real deal, been saying it all along. Some may write it off coming from me though since i`m a Michigan fan, but i`ve seen the kid play enough, i know what he`s made of. If he played this well tonight, just imagine if we got some consistency from our WR`s, or some better WR`s, and if we would open the playbook up for him even more once he gets more comfortable and confident. The possibilities are endless. I strongly feel our search for a QB is OVER
props to Ginn also for getting behind revis. i just about cried when i saw that play. I cant even remember the last time we hit such a play
I almost had a friggen heart attack. That last completion to Camarillo was awesome. Great win for this team. 2-0 in the division.
It just highlights what most of us have seen all season. Ginn gets open deep down the field against just about any corner you match him up with. He had Revis by about 2 1/2 to 3 steps. It was an easy touchdown.
I think we've got a QB on our hands now - brilliant game by Henne. Who'd have thought he'd put up more yards and TD's on a "great" defense than Drew Brees?
It's so nice to listen to Henne right now on ESPN. Can't believe they don't have Sanchez on here complaining.
What impressed me the most is his patience and ability to make plays in tough spots. The kid impressed the hell out of me tonight. I didn't think he would have this type of game until later on in the year or even next season.
hey I been in his corner his entire career. got concerned last week but this is why i been preaqching a strong armed QB over the game mangers we've had for 8 years
He had a nice game in his first start just did enough to help win the game without people becoming too hyped or down about a single game. Now he shows in Miami what his potential is and what he can do to help improve this offense. Feeling good about some of the big plays he hit especially the Ginn TD, and the two 3rd down conversions to Camarillo on that final drive. Those two 3rd down conversions were quality NFL quarterback throws and showed both the ability to put touch on the ball and throw on the move with accuracy and zip.
Was my favorite play of the game. Ginn made the "best shut down corner in the league" his b**tch on that one. And what a pass from Henne....
yeah, the big plays are memorable, but he wasn't sacked once, and didn't seem to be pressured at ALL at ANY point. compare that to last week! some AMAZING progress by him in just 8 days!!
Chad Henne was fantastic tonight. I've always been big on him, and confident in him, and he proved that he CAN do it tonight. Now all we need is to see him do this often, get him a number one receiver, and we will be the top offense in the league bar none. That being said, Henne got a TON of help from that offensive line today. And even when they brought the blitz, he had the piece of mind to get the ball off, our out to the sidelines... I mean seriously, you can't take a look at his play today, and find a flaw, it was about as good as it gets, against what has been ranked as one of the best defenses in the league. I do feel that he benefited a bit though from Ryan and the Jets trying to play the close ball. But if it weren't for those trick punts this would have been even more of a beating... But enough about the game. Lets see more of this from Henne, that seriously made my week. I'm not getting any sleep tonight, mucho coffee tomorrow morning!
0 INTs 0 Sacks? Unreal. I can't remember the last time I was this satisfied after a win. For sure, more so than any other win last year. Henne's game makes it soooo special
I think Dan is doing more than smiling. He's breathing one huge sigh of relief. I wouldn't be surprised if he was one more failed QB draft pick from suiting back up Here's hoping for more threads like this in the next coming games!
God it was so awesome to finally see a bomb deep to Ginn. A breath of fresh air from the dink and dunk style.
