Down by 3, the Jets get the ball to start the second half, if Nacho Sanchez is hit, he plays poorly.

Hey Sparano mind getting your team to execute? Try the following:

Step 1) Have your team line up
Step 2) Pull their heads out of their asses

Out coached? On special teams maybe. The ONLY reason the Jets are even in the game is penalties.

Man...this sucks. We should be winning. Friggin' fake punts and some questionable calls and we're down by 3 at HT.

    I friggin' hate the Jests.

Plain and simple we are going to lose this game unless we change what we are going on defense. We have to put pressure on Sanchez which will cause him to make mistakes. We are not getting after him...

We will address it......after the season.

There is simply nothing we can do but hope Henne gains experience and gets better. The receivers are what they are. And we have little at TE.

Henne has not thrown with any real rhythm. He's 7 of 9 but all but one of those were passes thrown under 10 yards from the line. The only throw that was deeper was the one to Brown on a scramble. If not for Ricky's huge run, Henne would have horrific yardage. That's one good play but it was set up by great blocking. The rest of Henne's stats are 6 of 8 for 26 yards. That's highly limited QB play.

He's not throwing on timing and while he's gotten rid of the ball, he's extremely limited (just like a rookie).

They are not attacking in the passing game and that demonstrates, so far, what the staff has thought of Henne.

A classic moment would have been after Ricky's long play. They should have gone to the end zone on the next play with a pass. They simply don't trust Henne. We'll see if he does better or improves - but throwing 8 of 9 passes under 10 yards is not classic rookie play - he's not nearly as competent as Sanchez in the pocket - through the 1st half.

I think there are certainly other factors - but, he's just not been a threat that the Jets fear.

I'm pretty sure that the 59-yard gain on the screen occurred after that first drive.

Also, I'm pretty sure that those two fake punt conversions resulted in 10 points.

Had we stopped even one of them, the game would either be tied or Miami would be up by 4.

The Dolphins aren't playing great, but to say that the Jets "are beating us" is a bit of a stretch. They're not doing much of anything either.

Yes... but if Grove doesnt commit the holding call, the pass to ronnie stands, which was a nice gain, and we may have kept driving... at least long enough to kill the clock enough to stop the jets from scoring there.

Overall, yes, the ST has stunk up the joint. I was strictly speaking to the FG the jets just got

How can we be putting the blame on the defense here?

The ST was fooled by a fake punt twice with one resulting in 20+ yards

    Couple thoughts...

We can't beat the Jets and the refs.

The refs have already blown a couple calls in the Jets favor. One on the PI call early in the game which was total BS. The other was the Edwards reception in which Porter got manhandled by number 84.

I don't know who our ST coach is but he needs to get his head out of his butt. This is the 2nd year in a row that our ST have been a huge problem. It is fix it or fire him time.

I hate how the announcers were praising Sanchez on that last drive. The Dolphins were sitting back giving him 5 yard outs.
He a rookie we need to rattle his cage.

Well... if our WR's were capable of getting open consistently, we may see more than just short passes. Also, the screen never woulda happened had Henne not backed up in intense pressure and hung in there long enough to let the play develop.
Its hard to fear a QB, when nobody fears the guys he's throwing to....

Just saying... Blame the QB all you want... but when we had Penny... no real big pass plays... now Henne, no big passing plays... Hmm... surely cant be two qb's... Blame here IMO is on the WR's... pretty simple IMO

    Well away from here
We are not throwing the ball on first down. That must be implemented.

If we pass a bit more to open the half and keep the run involved, I think we will see some results.

Why only a four man rush on Sanchez on the last drive? I guess the Buffalo game made them think they had an elite secondary or something.

I swear to the almighty this coaching staff plays scared!

Guys this is history repeating itself once again.. I swear this coaching staff is coaching scared..

Im sick of the stupid play calling. I dont recall ONE Henne deep pass. How are you supposed to keep the defense honest without attempting to stretch the field. Of course we have ****ty Wideouts but we can not grind, grind, grind for 3 and than let our pathetic defense give up huge chunks of yards in 2 minutes.

We need to throw on first and second downs. Getting into 3 and 7's are going to result in blitzes up the ace..

I have watched the Jets enough to know I could out coach that "good" defense myself. How might you ask? Screens... We need to pop a few screens off and go deep a few times. Pull them in and try to go over the middle with someone.. Let Henne PLAY stop handcuffing everyone for pete sakes..

On to the defense HAS anyone spotted Cameron Wake tongiht? I mean is this how your rewarded by this coaching staff? 3 sacks and you sit?

Porter looks like he rushed back, and it shows. Smith might eventually be a good Corner but he looks too light (cant takle for ****) and hes ALWAYS off coverage giving up huge yards almost every time..

Lets stop the young madison talks he hasnt done anything to earn it..

Now If the dolphins do not stop the first drive of the second half Im almost willing to call it in..

They can not play from behind, not against an above average defense. They just dont have the heart or manpower..

Yes Im sure everyone will hate me say Im ripping our fins and have faith, been there done that. I hope Im wrong I hope we open it up but this staff wants to grind grind grind it out but we just dont have the tools to do it... We need to PASS as well.

If the defense would have paid attention we would be ahead but they let 2 fake kicks cost them scores... STUPID undisciplined defense special teams mindset.

    Go Fins...
