Great point. The PR angle is much more important than people realize. Those are the four choices I see also, assuming that's Chris Long. I still have a hard time envisioning us drafting RB, but from a PR standpouint I can see it
False choice, Ryan would have to go #1 for us to draft him, beck went number 40, if Ryan slid to #40, then we would have a good comparison of perceived value. MLB is a glaring need. Gado to the 36, this guy is serious!
If Cam is still around then it wont happen. We'll go for whomever...problably the least expected guy. But if we get a new coach then expect him to go out and grab McFadden and trade Brown or something similiar to happen...maybe go for one of the top QBs...it all depends on the combines.
The best predictor over time on whether or not a QB will be a success in the NFL is his completion percentage in college and number of starts. Whoever between the QB's in college right now has the higher of those two number will be the better pro.
Exactly, I'm not talking about comparing them in draft value. I'm saying Ryan is no where near worth the #1 pick with the way he is careless with the ball and the excuses made for him that somehow don't apply to Beck. I don't care if we take another QB later on but I think it would be incredibly stupid to take one #1. We need a guy that can come in and instantly make a difference, thats McFadden, Dorsey, or Long IMO.
