This guy is the real deal. I think honestly he will be the one we have to really game plan against. We have handled top WRs on other teams well enough this year but we obviously have a real weakness covering tight ends. I am not concerned about stopping the run or their deep threat (as long as we tackle)

What are you thoughts. He had decent numbers as a rookie and at the end of the season last year he began to light it up.

    4.53 40 (fast for a TE)

In the 6 games he started last year here is his numbers

    Catches 48 Yards 535 Average 11.1 Long 54 TDs 3

    Not bad for a rookie.

I'm really thinking that Braylon will help Keller out in the secondary, but Sanchez has to earn the respect, first. If your pass rush can get to Sanchez quick enough like the Saints did to us last week, Keller won't be that big of a deal, I don't think.

Problem with that, Braylon will probably be a non factor, we haven't had a #1 WR beat us this year at all, we have been pretty good about shutting them down for the most part. TE's are our "Achilles Heel"

Also I am not that concerned about Edwards Stone Hands.

I just meant his presence alone. Before him at least, everyone knew to focus in on Keller and Cotchery. Even if Edwards has stone hands, which I really think he does unfortunately, teams will at least respect him a bit more than Stuckey or Brad Smith.

The idea has been tossed around alot to stick Davis on opposing TEs, we havent seen it happen yet though.

I guess it depends on the matchup.

Keller does scare me. Hell, any TE scares me at this point. Our defense has been very generous to TE's. If we can contain the run, we have a much better chance to contain Keller. The #1 thing I am worried about though, is Washington. Not running the ball, but on screens. We're pretty bad guarding screens, and Washington is a playmaker. If we can stop the run and force Sanchez to beat us, I like our chances. If we can get consistent pressure on a very good Jet's O-Line, I'll be ecstatic. Here's hoping Porter will play, we're going to need him.

Keller is pretty good, good hands and if he catches the ball can make this happen.

If Braylon turns out to be the real deal (straightens up, gets on the page with MS) it should help the whole team... running, TE, WR...
