miami offense is 1st in rush yards your defense is 13th with an average of 100.2 and jets have allowed an average of 14.2 points.
lol, low blow man, low blow. We'll see what happens on gameday. I think it's a pretty even matchup. The Jets are going to want revenge after getting a good beating yesterday. We're coming off of the first game high on an amazing performance. Bottom line is how effective our run game is, versus how effective your pass game is, is what will decide this game. Both sides are going to be trying to shut down the run. I'm just hoping our pass rush can throw you off guard and get to Sanchez and rattle his cage a few times. It worked for NO, but I'm sure he's going to have an intense practice week this week geared around our pass rush. As much as I hate the Jets, lets just hope for a fun to watch game, with few injuries. The smack talk can come after we know how it went down
I hate the Jets with a passion. The Fins will win by 6 Is there a point in discussing this any further? This thread is over now. Did I mention I hate the Jets with a passion?
yes our safeties have a bit of the comedian in them. Of course your boy Sanchez has dreams of being a comedian himself with his pick sixes and fumbles Notice I was speaking of your offense though and not your defense which plays the comedic foil to your offense quite well. they're the abbott to your offense's costello
this will be a very sobering experience for the high flying jets as they crash & sink into the depths of the Miami Ocean. blood in the water! @ the Bermuda Triangle of the NFL Land Shark Stadium
Make sure that you put Pace next to Harris and Scott in your sig playboy. We're going to put the BEATS to the Phins next Monday night. Nothing better than beating up on a team on national television.
You win that game 99 times out of a 100 but Peyton Manning is on his own level and has been on fire all season. Marino used to steal wins all the time for mediocre Miami teams. It may have been a loss but it helped Miami find its identity so it was not all bad. That paid off yesterday and I believe it will continue to pay off.
Sure that sucked but I certain if you asked the colts after 16 games are done whats the one team they dont want to play again and the answer would be a loud "Miami" from the defense...Its all well and good I hope the game plays out simular to the Colt game you guys dont have Peyton Manning Wayne/Clark...not even close. you are completely underestimating the physicality of the Phins OL just like Buffalo/indy/Diego your front 7 will find out soon enough...we gonna roll you for 250? highly doubtful Jets going to shut it down ??? 9 in the box maybe.
Cant wait to see Sean Smith get his pick 6 on Dirty Sanchez this weekend. all you NYers can stomp on your sombreros they're sellin at the meadowlands and curse him out and call him a bust right after
I know......and watching their fans file out of the stadium dejected as we celebrate the division title on your field. The Jets fall to earth ends with a loud thud on Monday night
Comical is also - like I said in another thread - beating two crappy teams (Houston and Tennessee) while needing two fumbled punts by one of them (Tennessee) to win, beating one team that is over-hyped and not what they once were, (New England) and losing to the only upper echelon team they faced (New Orleans) and still somehow thinking they're world beaters. Now THAT'S comical!
Yep,that sums it up loud and clear. No hard feelings torwards the Jet fans,I highlighted in puke green just for the occasion.
Teams been attempting to stop the WC all season and the Phins are averaging about 10 yards every time we run it. As a matter of fact the WC for the Phins has out gained the rest of the NFL combined when running it. The ripple I want to see us pull out on the Jets is getting the ball to Pat White or even Henne and attempt some throws down field out of this formation. We have only seen Pat on the field a few times, but no throws. This could be the time to pull out that card and cross up a very a defense that likes to blitz. Won't be surprised to see the Jets really crowd the line with 8 or more when they see us lining up in the WC formation. That should give us ops down field, the question is can we make them pay. Our oline is going to have to play a GREAT game, pass and run however.
The NY Giants ran for over 200 yards against the Rex Ryan led Baltimore defense and won the game 30-10. Eli Manning only threw the ball 23 times for 153 yards. So to say Miami will lose because they are on dimensonal is a completely false statement. And the Ravens were a much better team last year then the Jets are this year.
Whatever you say. Keep making excuses for the Jets' victories. If they win on Monday, what will it be? Let's hear this...
Question [forget about the Giants]: What did the MIAMI team do against the Rex Ryan led Baltimore defense last year? The Giants won that game because of their O-Line -- easily the best in the NFL. They just threw around that defense like they were rag dolls. I don't see the Phins' line being that physical. Rex will focus on wildcat/run game and make Henne throw the ball. Rex owns the the Wildcat. Obviously the Ravens were much better last year, they made it to the Conference Championship.
The only thing that comes to mind is the Jets win because Rex Ryan gets stuck at the entrance of the tunnel and our players can't get out on the field.
Which would be great for you......well except for the fact that you're not a Baltimore fan. And Rex owns nothing but really huge clothing......
and what will be the Jet fan excuses if they lose Monday??? I know you will be here in the forum and praise the game PS... but really what will be the excuse??? I guess we will have to wait and find out...
Funny, the Miami offensive line last season had 3 guys starting who are no longer on the team when they played Baltimore. And the Dolphins offensive line is the definition of physical, just look at the stats and size of the starters. Miami also has the man who coached the offensive line last year for the NYG in the same position.
LOL I was about to point this out but decided just to wait till Monday night and enjoy the trench war...good stuff talking about how baltimore handled it when we had 2 street FA guards and a center we traded for twinkies...gonna look a little different with the crew we have now .
And if they lose what will YOUR excuse be? Let's hear THAT. [ I'm not making any excuses for my team. Unlike Jets fans, I don't think that my team is going to the super bowl every time we sign a rookie QB who's the next "franchise" or hire some overweight, loudmouth coach.
Well I will say that Ryan is a defensive genius looking at what he has done this year. Also PS17 is right look at Baltimore's defense this year. The Jets defense has made great QBs look pedestrian...ie Brady and Brees. That defense is very impressive and facing essentially Baltimore's defense from last year doesn't make me happy (remember they killed Miami last year). So not looking forward to the game Henne will have this week and hopefully he doesn't get thrown to the wolves because of it. Yes I know this isn't how smack works...you are not supposed to compliment the team but I got to be real on this one. I have no clue who will win this game as Miami's defense can feast on Sanchez as well but the youth in the secondary worries me...ie will they be able to read Sanchez like Sharper did this week. Also will Henne fold and kill Miami on offense worries me. I think the running game of Miami will keep it close and I say first team to 21 wins. Its going to be a tough one but Sparano really needs to drill it home this is a season making game for Miami. They need that same fire they had against Buffalo.
you came in from out of nowhere, and next Monday, you will go back to nowhere. with your tail between your legs.
No excuses from me. Or resorting to stupid jokes. I'll give you Phins fans props in the Phins win. Posted via Mobile Device
#1 rushing offense against a rushing defense that got torched yesterday.....someone has to break. we will see monday
