Game rewind of Dolphins' bashing of Bills http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...game-rewind-of-dolphins-bashing-of-bills.html
Pouting because he isn't getting the ball thrown to him?? He drops 2 game winners against Indy and disappears in multiple games. He should have stayed outside on the reverse yesterday and it would have been a TD. Am I missing something here?
eh...it's easy to second guess on that reverse...I had no problem with his choice to cut inside agree with your other points though
I've been in his situation when I moved to a semi-pro level in ball hockey. Was brought in and eventually became a steady bench player, when I know I could have contributed. It isn't an easy feeling for anyone, and am not surprised the way he reacted, as I did the same thing after a few games. It is a pride issue, and unless you know how it feels to have that taken away from you, it is really hard to relate. I am dissapointed with his reaction, but I do understand it.
I think the next week or two is going toi indeed be the tell-tale sign of what we will get from Ginn IMO. Either the light finally goes on, or he starts specializing MUCH more in KR/PR
And then again.... I do understand its gotta be frustrating for him, but the bottomline is he has just NOT stepped up consistantly. Perhaps this will be the turning point, or perhaps it will instead be the defining point...I hope for the first, but really think its gonna be the latter
Well, Cam sitting Ronnie Brown lite a fire under his behind. There is no better motivation than riding the pine - I know. But, the problem is, it is hard for some to come in midway through a game (any sport really) and or special packages and play well. Some need to get int a rythem. I think Ginn is one of those players to be honest. It is frustrating because we finally have a QB that can get the ball to him, allowing him to break out, and we don't even play him.
He needs to get pissed off about this. I'd rather have a guy huffing an puffing than not giving a ****. The coaches were obviously sending him a message. I do like that Camarillo was more involved yesterday though. That's a good sign.
A lot of people have been calling for this, and I think a little sit down time will do him good. You took him out of his protective bubble, and held his feet over the fire and reminded him that just because he was a first round high pick, does not mean he is not expendable. I do though, feel bad for Ginn. He hasn't shown any signs of being our number one receiver, but I still feel he'd be a great two guy if the defenses had someone else to be keyed in on. Until that happens though, he's going to struggle. I think that he needs to allow him to open up is someone across from him that will draw more attention than he does. We get him that, and I think you could very quickly see the real Ted Ginn step up.
