Big game for the Jets, but a huge game for the Fins. Pretty much a must win for Miami.

The Jets defense will more than likely feast on Henne and if the Miami running game can't get started its going to be a long night. Besides the Miami running game the defense will have to show up as well.

The Jets are a very good and solid team...I am just glad the game is in Miami because that will give Miami a chance. However I honestly have no idea who will win.

Calling it now, Pat White will have an impact in the Wildcat this week. This is the week I think we see a lot of new wrinkles in our offense.

This game could be closer than I originally thought. Ronnie can certainly run the ball and I think he can get some good chunks on this defense.

But this D is damn impressive. The Saints only scored 10 on offense, no TD's for Brees, and generally unimpressive numbers. The Saints won this game on defense, and Sanchez's rookie mistakes.

If the Phins put good pressure on Sanchez, it's possible he can make some bonehead rookie mistakes. I know that the secondary for Miami has been not so good this season, but I only saw them for 1.5 games (MNF against Indy & half the SD game).

I think Sanchez can get back on track with a solid game, hopefully our running game will ****ing show up. The Defense is a given for this team, and I can't see the Phins scoring more than 14. JMO.

Brees had 172 yds and no touchdowns vs the Bills. they handled the Bills the same way they disposed of the Jets. Points off turnovers and turnover scores. lulled them to sleep with ball control offense...and cruised to a 2+ score win.

The fact is, this game is crazy, and the game takes on a life of its own. anyone can win, and anyone can win big or by a little.

The Phins are rolling now.....if we control the ground game, we control the clock and there won't be no more big comebacks against us like in the Indy game.

Wanna take back the Sanchize moniker?

If we put as much pressure on Sanchez as we did with Edwards then we have a good chance at winning.

Also, no matter how many times Chad was hit, he didnt get nervous, he stayed calm. But how can one rattle a robot?

    Ball control run game...

WC has to be the main theme...

Jets have not faced a team that can produce on the ground yet PS... really produce on the ground...

Jets won the games which basically they had the TOP, they lost against NO, yes no NO TD (impressive Defense), but NO did have the TOP... so they control the games with the points already alocated by their D...

Miami has won the TOP in 3 out fo their 4 loses... well they found how to score this week...

Hopefully they found their winning ways...

You have to think averaging over 200+ yards rushing in the last 3 games... scary is it not???

But in the end... on any given Sunday....

Not gonna talk smack but watching our Oline dominate the LOS the last three games and to a lesser extent same on the D side... Jets better be ready because Miami is going to try and maul them.

We had better show up and not have a letdown game on MNF against the Jets. This is a huge game for players and coaches, and Sparano and Co. better have us good and ready for this one. Keep that Bills momentum going and figure out how we can Sanchez down early and rattle him.

Our run D has been dominant.

-Michael Turner got shut down! He was second only to Adrian Peterson last year.
-Indy didn't run the ball at all (cause they could pass at will).
-Sproles got shut down. He's a solid back.
-Fred Jackson (top 5 in rushing yardage this year) + Ulgy-*** Lynch got shut down.

We can shut down T. Jones and L. Washington. I believe it. Rattle the rookie at home on MNF!!!! I like our chances to win this game.

As a coach I have a saying that my football teams always say together. I always say we're gonna run the ball down the other teams throat and MAKE 'EM LIKE IT. Why? Because they have no choice. We're going to run the ball down the Jets and their big mouth coaches throats and we're going to "MAKE 'EM LIKE IT!"

    The R&R express will dominate!

This is the kind of comment that makes me chuckle. Four games into the season and it's a "given"?

Let's see what happens when that "given" defense (153 yards, 4.7 ypc against the Saints) come up against Ronnie and Rickey.

    Gotta love Jet fans.

I think this team can run on anybody. I don't expect a high scoring affair, getting to Sanchez will be the key IMO more than anything. We saw yesterday what some pressure can do to the young QB. They have to find a way to do it through blitzes or whatever it takes. On the flip side it will be important to give Henne some time but the dominant rushing attack should help with the Jets aggressive D.

this game is going to be an ugly low scoring game with turnovers on both sides. hopefully we have less. the jets defense is frightening. thankfully their offense is comical. if we can run we will win but i think the jets will take that away from us. its going to be a field position battle. hopefully our special teams are up for it

For all intents and purposes this is do or die for the season, and a perfectly good excuse to smack the taste out of Rex Ryan's mouth.

Like the post on the front page says, we've got a guide to beating the Jets written up by the Saints for us, and we've got the tools to execute. We've got now three great pass rush OLBs to keep their OL off guard. Is it coming from Wake, Porter, or Taylor? I think they're going to concoct some really tricky defensive schemes to test that Jets line.

We're definitely going to be listed as the "underdogs" but I like that. Let the Jets get cocky, I think it's going to be a very neck and neck nailbiter.

agree that this should be a no more than a 21 point game on either side ... the JESTS D has been consistent all year so far ... hopefully, ours is finding its stride ...

as long as we can run, even a little - this should be a very good game.

i believe both QBs will be pressured all night long.

Jets defense is allowing 9 points per game. How are you gonna score again? Rex will focus on shutting down the run and the WC formation. He keyed on shutting down the NO passing game and it worked. NO just has a good running game also. They are a tough team to beat cause they can beat you in almost any way. I just think Miami is too one-dimensional to score more than 14 here. Rex will try to make Henne beat the D.
