No game thread tonight? I am a bit disappointed to be honest lol, I was hoping to talk football after doing math homework but that's not the case. Anyone else watching?

Rashard Mendenhall looks good tonight, which is a good thing for Pittsburgh. He's very talented and many rate him but his work ethic has to be one of the most bizarre ones out there. If he's not a starter, he slacks off an incredible amount. If he's starting, he works his tail off. It's a well documented work ethic, going back to his early University of Illinois days. Have to wonder if they finally cut the leash with Willie Parker next off-season and have Mendenhall start.

i'm watching. I hate the steelers.

I hate the chargers even more for not even putting up any points to help beat the steelers that I hate so much.

fricken roethlisburger gets so many lucky breaks if the man didn't play so heavy on his feet he'd have more lumps than a sack of potatos. they got two sacks on him that i saw but i saw a few times where he just ducked and the announcers were all over his nuts saying he's so good at avoiding being tackled. i'm sitting there thinking "the guy ducked and you're all over his nuts".

    ****in announcers...

    Are you upset?

    ;)

On a serious note, I love the Steelers. I just love the way they play and they have a kick-*** tight end in Heath Miller.

Is this the same SD team that beat us last week or is this the college team from the SD area? Where is FFIC to help us?

It's very tough to beat a Steelers ball club that is running the ball well on the night. I think Mendenhall is getting five yards per touch. Not to mention that the Steelers are challenging the San Diego secondary vertically. It looks like San Diego was playing Cover 2 and the Steelers started to run wide receiver bunches to one side of the field and then attack down field with go routes, post routes, etc. I think that usually tears the Cover 2 a new one.

One of the craziest 4th quarter I've ever seen. If the chargers had any semblance of a Run defense, maybe they can pull this off. But that porous middle is sealing the deal for Pitts
