Nice stand by the "D", now Jacory has to stop throwing that deep ball in the middle of the field, he should look to the out hashmarks if he is going to go deep on OU.
Someone tell Travis Benjamin that is HIS ball to catch not the defenders. Horrible use of body and technique. Also tell Sam Shields that the point of playing corner isnt to get open. That was his old job he couldnt do right.
Harris is just throwing the ball up for grabs. And Shields...man running free...you should be following man running behind you...note to Sam
I'm not sure you can put the first INT on Jacory. It was a miscommunication. The second Benjamin didnt even fight for the ball. He drifted passed it.
Disagree, but I hope Jacory realizes that when two defenders are on the deep Wr, the underneath route is wide open
Padre I agree he threw the second one up for grabs. Where I disagree is that it was a one on one situation. I have no problem with that throw, if Benjamin plays the ball properly its a catch or incomplete. I dunno about the first. Very well could have been his fault, just pointing out it could have been the receiver.
OU just throws flurries, but Miami is really whacking Landry. To many U players are trying to make the big play and not just doing their jobs.
Our defense is nasty. In a bad way. Good news is if we get pressure on their QB I'm 100% sure he is going to make mistakes. His throws have looked AWFUL the few times we got at him. On offense we can move the ball...that isn't the problem.
If I saw Sam Shields walking down the street and I had the open lane with my car... honestly... well... (and I'm not joking at all) Seriously the worst DB I've ever seen in my life. Even when they're not capitalizing, he's getting beat. EVERY SINGLE PLAY. Posted via Mobile Device
The funny thing is that while the announcers harped over the throw by the OU QB for their first TD, am I the only on that thinks if Shields plays that ball right he can deflect it? He missed the chuck at the line but caught up. He just WASNT playing the ball. The throw wasnt actually that good at all.
Nice run, definitely seems like they can run on OU. They should try to establish the running game for a change.
Because your corner was grabbing his arm lol... The dude was beat, it was probably a good idea to interfere... that was TD all the way.
I just want to point out that they beat us what like 53-10 last time? The team looks so much better, you don't win a championship overnight. We play them tough even in a loss and I'm 100% sure we are going in the right direction.
I don't think you'll find anyone who can honestly say your not headed in the right direction. They are definitely on their way. However, after all the national championship game and heisman talk after only 2 games, you gotta admit the hype was alittle out of control.
