The Official What was the last movie you saw??

Saw 'Drugstore Cowboy' tonight on IFC, starring Matt Dillon and Kelly Lynch. Great movie about drug addiction and being down and out. I say

 

Saw Wolverine last night. I enjoyed it.

Yesterday I reviewed Mr.and Ms.Smith! I like Brad Pitt!

 

Spartan and The Last Legion both horrible movies.

 

SPARTAN? the movie with val kilmer?

 

Yes. God he was awful. The scene when he breaks into the beach house.

"Hey man I'm just hear because I heard the TV was on"

It had moments but overall it wasn't very good.

Just saw this. One of the worst? I could understand not liking it, but you must not watch alot of movies for it to be that low on your list.

What exactly did you not like about it?

Maybe too much Blue wang.

 

The blue wang was hardly even noticeable personally.

If it was that distracting for you, I'd guess you had either envy or lust.

 

I saw a double feature yesterday of "the Informant" and "Surrogates."

The Informant was good, but not nearly as funny as I expected.

Surrogates paralleled a lot of ideas with I, Robot (imo), but wasn't nearly as good. It was an entertaining movie, but not as great as I had hoped.

 

I saw (this past weekend) Pandorum. Not a bad movie overall, but the WTF moment, when you learned what was really going on, was crazy!

 

I really didnt notice it at all.

My only problem is: The dude renaminates himself and adds a 6 pack, if I were him I'd make my wang bigger.

 

It looks pretty interesting but I haven't decided if it's one to wait for on DVD.

 

Honestly, it's not a 'must see' FX flick, but it had a great story, and let me say again, the WTF moment was outstanding.

 

Well, I do watch my share of movies. And it is in my top ten worst movies. I just thought it was so slow from start to finish. Maybe I just don't get the storyline, but it was so far out there for me. Frankly I thought it was just really dumb. I just kept telling myself to keep watching and it'll pick up and get good, exciting...but I was wrong.

I dunno, different strokes..


Watched Observe and Report last night. Another dud for me. Easily Seth Rogen's worst movie, imo.

 

I was giving a reason why he didn't like the movie.

 

I thought Watchmen was overblown, a bit boring and had no characters that you really gave a **** about. I can't imagine the Director's Cut with 37 more minutes of blue wang.

Don't know if it has been mentioned here yet but there was a movie out last year called Hurt Locker. I just saw it and it's a really good film. It follows a small group of 3 soldiers in the Iraq War. One is a bomb technician. They go through these various exploits. Very realistic feel to it. I know there are a lot of guys on this forum that serve or use to serve and I'm pretty sure you guys will like it.

 

Yea man. Saw this when it came out and thought it was good.

I kept trying to figure out where I knew the black dude from.

Maybe so but I thought Bowling for columbine was a good movie. I didn't see his second movie.

 

im actually interested to see his new movie. but I would take whatever he says with a grain of salt. Could be fun seeing him harassing people though.

 

Just saw Zombieland...loved it. There is a celebrity cameo in this movie that is unbelievable. Hopefully those interested in this movie get to see it before that part is ruined for them.

watching "The Soloist" right now

 

Watched 'Rest Stop' with a bunch of unheard of's and Joey Lawrence. It was a much deserved straight to video release. The best part of the movie was

when biker cop Joey was terminally wounded, and instead of burning to death, had the girl shoot him to put him out of his misery. She puts the barrel in his mouth and pulls the trigger. He's out, and then he wakes up screaming, "You missed!" "Shoot me again!"

I almost fell off the couch laughing after that part.

I was one the fence about seeing this movie today or waiting for it to hit the internetz...

Is it just a comedy? I've heard it's also kind of a drama at times.

 

will tell everyone i know that they need to go see zombieland.... freakin awesome!

Is easily one of the funniest and funnest movies I've seen in a long, long time.

Go see this movie.

 

Saw Zombieland earlier. Not as good as I've been hearing, but enjoyable. 8/10. The ending was a little weird, but owell. It's a movie to sit back and enjoy, not to nitpick.

Anyone read that Max Brooks novel, zombie survival guide? Was this movie based on that at all? I've read World War Z (can't wait for that movie) but not the first. From what I know of ZSG, it seems like the idea could of been used for Zombieland.

Did everyone get Legion as one of their movie previews? Holy **** that movie looks like a piece of ****... Killing angels with guns? Hollywood needs some new ideas...

 

i agree completly with this statement, the end i thought was pretty good! also saw Zombielands and i love Woody Harrelson, he needs to be in more comedies!
