So I have an interview for a job tomorrow at 9:30 in the morning. It's only Target, and is going to pay less than my last job that I lucked into. The thing is though I'm trying to get my life straight. Education, job, future and everything. So any job right now is a huge step for me. So yep, wish me luck guys.
I worked at Target when I was younger, not a terrible job if you're just looking for anything atm. GL w/ the interview.
Which is exactly what I'm looking for right now. Obviously it isnt a career but it's a job. I'm taking online classes for my GED too, or going to, I could pass it right now but I just want to make sure (classes are like $10) so it's no loss. I'm just really looking to get everything going.
Good luck man, Interviews are exciting (for me at least) Hope you dress to success ))) Politness mannters and all that..im sure you will do great :ok:
I want to say good luck as well and not only on the job but also for wanting to get your life in order. So good luck all around.
Good Luck man! I'm in a similar position myself where I'm taking a lower paying job that probably isn't a career while I try to get my life back on track so I feel you.
Be confident, polite, and respectful. If you're asked a question you don't know the answer to, don't make it up. Just say, "To be honest I don't know, but I'd like the opportunity to find the answer." You'll do fine.
So yeah I got it pending drug test, which is going to come back clean. Everyone was really nice but the interview process was way longer than I imagined. I talked to maybe 4 different people over about 2 and a half hours.
Congrats alex. I'm happy for you. I worked in retail for over 30 years, from freight manager, sales and assistant mgr. It's hard work, but it's a living.
Have fun wearing the uber-sexy combo of tan pants and a red shirt! You'll have to beat off with a stick!, I mean beat THEM off with a stick... Wait, it sounds gross either way. Glad you found a job, man.
Congrats man, my first job was with K Mart way back when... really helped me out in more ways than one. Met my wife there, who convinced me to go back to college and I'm now about 3 weeks away from officially becoming a CPA (with a license number and everything).
Don't know what it is about Target, but it never fails that I see at least a few MILF's every time I go there. That place is a MILF magnet for whatever reason. Enjoy the perk!
Funny, when I go to WalMart, I find nothing but MILK. Mothers I'd love to kill! Get out of the friggin middle of the aisle lady!
Seriously, what is it with women and leaving their ****ing carts in the middle of the aisle? It's as if they simply lack the gene that allows them to conceptualize, "over to the side." Go to any store in a hurry, and it's not the lines at the registers that will slow you down - it's having to move other people's carts out of the damn way!
what pisses me off is when people leave empty shoping carts in the middle of a parking space, are people really that ****ing lazy?
I like how so many people there wear camo shirts, tanktops, pants etc. You can never be too careful at Walmart...
I took the GED man and it isn't difficult. Passed it on my first go and that was without classes. I say go for it now. Edit: And good luck with the interview I'd like to get a job at Target too.
